Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Chargé(e) de projet, Ingénieur(e) électrique qui assurera l’assistance technique aux usines pilotes et laboratoires du centre de technologie et des minéraux critiques ainsi que la gestion et la réalisation de projets d’ingénierie (électrique et autres disciplines).
Ce poste constitue une excellente occasion d’exercer votre influence tout en mettant à profit vos connaissances techniques par la réalisation de projets d’ingénierie et d’automatisation sur le site de Rio Tinto Fer et Titane.
Vous travaillerez selon un horaire de 5 jours du lundi au vendredi en combinant télétravail et présence sur le site.
Vous relèverez du Directeur TiO2 & Qualité et aurez les tâches suivantes :
- Fournir l’assistance technique requise aux unités pilotes et laboratoires;
- Participer à l’amélioration des systèmes de contrôle existants;
- Gérer et coordonner l’ensemble des activités d’ingénierie des projets qui vous seront confiés;
- Assurer le respect des plus hauts standards de sécurité lors de la conception et sur les chantiers de construction;
- Gérer des entrepreneurs sur les chantiers de construction afin de s’assurer du respect des normes de sécurité, de la qualité des travaux, de l’échéancier et des coûts.
Votre contribution
- Baccalauréat en génie électrique ou génie de la production automatisée;
- Être membre de l’ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
- Expérience démontrée dans le milieu de l’industrie lourde ;
- Capacité à fournir des recommandations techniques;
- Expérience en programmation;
- Expérience dans les disciplines suivantes : mécanique/civil;
- Autonomie et pouvoir d’influence ;
- Facilité à communiquer et à travailler avec plusieurs parties prenantes ;

Rio Tinto Fer et Titane – Opérations Québec transforme du minerai du nord du Québec depuis 70 ans. Il est l’un des principaux fabricants de matières premières de dioxyde de titane, couramment utilisé comme pigment pour fabriquer des finis blancs de qualité supérieure. L’entreprise est un chef de file mondial pour les produits de poudres métalliques de haute pureté. Il produit également du fer et de l’acier destinés à des applications hautement spécialisées, notamment dans les domaines de l’industrie automobile et de l’énergie éolienne. Rio Tinto Fer et Titane – Opérations Québec offre des possibilités de carrières intéressantes à ses installations minières à Havre-Saint-Pierre et à son Complexe métallurgique à Sorel-Tracy.
