Gestionnaire, Livraison TI – Projets Locaux

Nous recherchons un(e) Gestionnaire, Livraison TI – Projets Locaux pour diriger une équipe de chefs de projet TI au sein d’une grande entreprise minière mondiale. Bien que ce poste soit axé sur des projets locaux et régionaux, il implique également le développement de gestionnaires de projet capables de soutenir de vastes programmes mondiaux. Ce rôle exige un leader stratégique doté de solides compétences en gestion de projet et en leadership, garantissant la réussite de plusieurs projets TI alignés sur les objectifs de l’entreprise. 

Relevant de la haute direction TI, vous devrez : 

  • Diriger et développer une équipe de chefs de projet TI en favorisant un environnement collaboratif et axé sur la performance. 
  • Superviser la planification, l’exécution et la livraison des projets TI en veillant à respecter les délais, le périmètre et le budget. 
  • Collaborer avec les parties prenantes clés pour aligner les projets sur les objectifs d’affaires et fournir des mises à jour régulières sur les portefeuilles de projets. 
  • Identifier et atténuer les risques à travers les portefeuilles de projets en mettant en place des stratégies efficaces de gestion des risques. 
  • S’assurer que les normes de qualité sont respectées et promouvoir l’amélioration continue dans la gestion des projets TI. 
  • Soutenir la standardisation des pratiques de gestion de projet (PMO) et aligner les capacités en gestion de projet avec les objectifs de Rio Tinto. 
  • Favoriser le développement de carrière des chefs de projet, en veillant à ce qu’ils maîtrisent les méthodologies de projet, les technologies émergentes et la gestion des parties prenantes.

Votre expérience professionnelle démontre votre aptitude à diriger des projets TI, à favoriser un rendement élevé et à gérer efficacement des équipes interfonctionnelles. Vous devez posséder : 

  • Plus de 10 ans d’expérience en gestion de projets TI, dont au moins 5 ans en leadership. 
  • Une solide connaissance des méthodologies de gestion de projet (Agile, Waterfall) et des outils tels que MS Project, JIRA, ADO, P6. 
  • Expérience en gestion de projets d’infrastructure TI, de développement logiciel et de gestion des données. 
  • Capacité éprouvée à collaborer avec les dirigeants d’entreprise et les équipes techniques pour assurer l’alignement des projets avec les objectifs de l’organisation. 
  • Expérience avérée en gestion des risques, en assurance qualité et en amélioration continue. 
  • Un baccalauréat en technologie de l’information, en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe. 
  • Une certification en gestion de projet (PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe ou équivalent) est un atout. 

Sera également considéré comme un atout : 

  • Expérience dans des industries à forte intensité d’actifs (mines, fabrication, énergie). 
  • Connaissance approfondie des principes de cybersécurité et de gouvernance TI. 
  • Expertise en gestion du changement et en engagement des parties prenantes au sein d’une organisation mondiale.

Manager, IT Delivery – Local Projects

We are looking for a Manager, IT Delivery – Local Projects to lead a team of IT Project Managers within a large global mining company. While the role focuses on local and regional projects, it also involves developing project managers who can support large global programs. This position requires a strategic leader with strong project management and leadership skills to ensure the successful delivery of multiple IT projects aligned with business objectives. Reporting to senior IT leadership, you will: 

  • Lead and develop a team of IT Project Managers by fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment. 
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. 
  • Engage with key stakeholders to align projects with business goals, providing regular updates on project portfolios. 
  • Identify and mitigate risks across project portfolios, implementing effective risk management strategies. 
  • Ensure quality standards are met and promote continuous improvement across IT project management. 
  • Support the standardization of PMO practices and align project management capabilities with Rio Tinto’s objectives. 
  • Drive career development for project managers, ensuring they are equipped with skills in project methodologies, emerging technologies, and stakeholder management. 

About you

  • Experience leading high-performing teams and mentoring professionals in IT project management. 
  • Capacity to align project management capabilities with broader business objectives and continuously seek improvements. 
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear project alignment and progress updates. 
  • Can navigate complex challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain focus on successful project delivery.

Your previous work experience demonstrates your ability to lead IT projects, drive high performance, and manage cross-functional teams effectively. You must have: 

  • 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, ADO, P6). 
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure, software development, and data management projects**. 
  • Proven ability to engage with business leaders and technical teams to align project delivery with company objectives. 
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement**. 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or similar project management certification preferred. 

Also, it is an asset if you have: 

  • Experience working in asset-intensive industries such as mining, manufacturing, or energy. 
  • A deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT governance. 
  • Expertise in change management and stakeholder engagement within a global organization. 
  • Experience integrating Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage large-scale programs.
