-
Communicate with management on the progress of planning and design as well as special projects.
-
Work with representatives from the rest of the value chain to properly model production and to support projects outside of the mine that require inputs from the mine plan.
-
Work with the concentrator, tailings, smelters and production support to obtain design criteria, costs, performance objectives, and constraints
-
Develop mine plans and waste dump plans at the appropriate level of detail to optimize long-term objectives and meet short-term commitments

Requires excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
-

-
Requires strong reasoning and critical thinking.
-
Must demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
-
Must exhibit a strong understanding of mining principles.
-
Exposure to production scheduling systems and processes (COMET, MPSO, Deswik) will be beneficial
-
