We are looking for a motivated Superintendent Project Cost & Reporting accountable for leading a team responsible for the development of project cost estimates in line with the integrated schedule and the monitoring of activities during the execution of projects, including cost and schedule forecasting and conformance reporting against the annual plan.
We’ll support and empower you to challenge yourself, learn from others, share your own ideas freely and achieve excellence in strategic and leadership outcomes.
You’ll manage your own team of professionals, and work with key stakeholders across Resource Development to manage and coordinate effective project control processes to ensures funds are available for the delivery of our drill programs. Reporting to the Manager Planning, you will also be responsible for:

Developing your team’s capability through ongoing coaching and mentoring, structured training and support.

Owning, standardising and driving continuous improvement of our cost and reporting standards and working collaboratively to benchmark and adopt best practices.

Conduct regular integrated schedule baseline reviews with quarterly planners to ensure integrity of estimates and forecasts.

Ensure expenditure aligns with approved budgets and schedules.

Critical data analysis to support business decision making, which includes physicals, cost, contractor performance and key insights for program delivery.

Development and management of program estimates and budget.

Your success in this role will be greatly assisted by:

Prior experience in a similar role, with proven team leadership and coaching capability.

Experience in cost control routines and processes (budget/commitment management, invoice processing, cashflow, forecasting and reporting).

Your ability to identify trends, underlying business impacts, schedule and cost optimisation opportunities and provide risk mitigation strategies.
-
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage, clearly present information and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Working knowledge of scheduling practices and software.
-
Experience in SAP.

Well-developed problem-solving capability and drive for continuous improvement.

Where you will be working
You and your team will be Perth based with opportunity to work flexibly from home combined with time in our Central Park offices. Our wider team is spread across a combination of Perth and Pilbara Resource Development sites. This role is open to both full time and part time applicants.
