Como Gerente de Almacén y Distribución, tendrás un rol clave en la planificación, coordinación y supervisión integral de las operaciones logísticas del Salar del Hombre Muerto, asegurando el abastecimiento eficiente y seguro de materiales, insumos y equipos críticos para las operaciones de Fénix y Sal de Vida. Liderarás equipos multidisciplinarios y trabajarás de manera transversal con distintas áreas del negocio para garantizar continuidad operativa, excelencia en el servicio y mejora continua en un entorno dinámico y desafiante.
Vas a acompañar procesos que aseguren que nuestras operaciones se desarrollen de manera responsable, alineadas con estándares internacionales y con las expectativas de las comunidades.
Responsabilidades:
- Liderar y supervisar las operaciones de Distribución y Almacenes del Salar del Hombre Muerto, asegurando la continuidad operativa y el cumplimiento de los estándares de seguridad, servicio y costos.
- Gestionar y desarrollar al equipo de logística, incluyendo la supervisión directa de los Superintendentes de Fénix y Sal de Vida, promoviendo una cultura de alto desempeño, colaboración y mejora continua.
- Asegurar la planificación y ejecución eficiente de las operaciones logísticas de transporte, almacenamiento y abastecimiento, alineadas con las necesidades operativas y productivas del negocio.
- Coordinar con áreas de Supply Chain, Operaciones, Procurement y proveedores logísticos para garantizar el abastecimiento oportuno de materiales, insumos y equipos críticos.
- Monitorear indicadores de desempeño logístico (seguridad, nivel de servicio, costos, productividad y cumplimiento de planes), impulsando acciones correctivas y oportunidades de optimización.
- Asegurar el cumplimiento de políticas corporativas, estándares de HSE y normativas legales aplicables al transporte, almacenamiento y manejo de materiales.
- Liderar iniciativas de mejora continua, eficiencia operativa y desarrollo de capacidades logísticas, promoviendo buenas prácticas y digitalización de procesos.
- Gestionar la relación con operadores logísticos y transportistas estratégicos, asegurando altos estándares de servicio, seguridad y cumplimiento contractual.

- Título universitario en Ingeniería Industrial, Logística o carreras afines.
- Experiencia superior a 5 años en posiciones de liderazgo dentro de logística compleja, supply chain, distribución y/o almacenes, preferentemente en industrias mineras, industriales o de operaciones remotas.
- Experiencia liderando equipos operativos y supervisando múltiples frentes logísticos en entornos dinámicos y de alta exigencia.
- Sólidos conocimientos en planificación logística, transporte, gestión de almacenes, indicadores de desempeño y mejora continua.
- Experiencia trabajando con operadores logísticos, transportistas y gestión de contratistas.
- Capacidad para liderar equipos multidisciplinarios, tomar decisiones operativas y gestionar prioridades en contextos complejos.
- Manejo de sistemas ERP (SAP deseable), Excel avanzado y herramientas de análisis de datos.
- Habilidades de comunicación y relacionamiento en contextos interculturales.
- Inglés intermedio/avanzado oral y escrito. (Excluyente).

About the role

As a Warehouse and Distribution Manager, you will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and overall supervision of logistics operations at Salar del Hombre Muerto, ensuring the efficient and safe supply of materials, consumables, and critical equipment for Fénix and Sal de Vida operations. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and work cross-functionally with different areas of the business to ensure operational continuity, service excellence, and continuous improvement in a dynamic and challenging environment.
You will also support processes that ensure our operations are carried out responsibly, aligned with international standards and community expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and oversee Distribution and Warehouse operations at Salar del Hombre Muerto, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with safety, service, and cost standards.
- Manage and develop the logistics team, including direct supervision of the Superintendents for Fénix and Sal de Vida, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and continuous improvement culture.
- Ensure effective planning and execution of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and supply activities, aligned with the operational and production needs of the business.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, and logistics providers to ensure timely supply of materials, consumables, and critical equipment.
- Monitor logistics performance indicators (safety, service levels, costs, productivity, and plan compliance), driving corrective actions and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, HSE standards, and applicable legal regulations related to transportation, storage, and material handling.
- Lead continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and logistics capability development initiatives, promoting best practices and process digitalization.
- Manage relationships with logistics operators and strategic transport providers, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and contractual compliance.
About you
The successful candidate will have a strong focus on caring for people and will promote a culture where physical and psychological wellbeing are priorities. You will be an inclusive professional, able to collaborate effectively across the organization, and will bring the following skills and experience:
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
- Over 5 years of experience in leadership roles within complex logistics, supply chain, distribution, and/or warehousing, preferably in mining, industrial, or remote operations.
- Experience leading operational teams and supervising multiple logistics fronts in dynamic and high-demand environments.
- Strong knowledge of logistics planning, transportation, warehouse management, performance indicators, and continuous improvement.
- Experience working with logistics operators, transport providers, and contractor management.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, make operational decisions, and manage priorities in complex environments.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills in intercultural environments.
- Intermediate/advanced English, both spoken and written (mandatory).
