Objectif du poste
Le Superviseur HME est responsable de la supervision de la maintenance, de la réparation et de la disponibilité des engins miniers lourds (HME) afin de garantir des opérations sûres, fiables et rentables. Ce poste encadre une équipe de techniciens et de sous-traitants et veille à ce que les activités de maintenance préventive planifiée et de maintenance corrective soient exécutées efficacement, tout en respectant les normes de sécurité, d’environnement et les standards de l’entreprise.
Le titulaire du poste contribue également au développement des compétences de l’équipe par la formation, le coaching et la gestion de la performance afin d’atteindre des pratiques de maintenance de classe mondiale.
Principales responsabilités
- Promouvoir et faire respecter une forte culture de sécurité dans toutes les activités de maintenance.
- Garantir le respect des politiques, procédures HSE du site ainsi que des exigences réglementaires en vigueur.
- Animer les réunions de démarrage, les causeries sécurité (toolbox talks), les évaluations des risques et les enquêtes sur les incidents.
- Veiller à ce que tous les travaux soient réalisés conformément aux recommandations des fabricants (OEM) et aux normes du site.
- Superviser les activités de maintenance, de réparation, de diagnostic des pannes et de révision générale des équipements miniers lourds.
- S’assurer que les programmes de maintenance préventive et prédictive sont réalisés dans les délais prévus.
- Coordonner et prioriser les interventions de maintenance corrective afin de minimiser les temps d’arrêt des équipements, en collaboration avec les équipes de Production pour définir les priorités.
- Surveiller les performances des équipements et identifier les opportunités d’amélioration de leur fiabilité.
- Examiner les ordres de travail et garantir leur clôture correcte dans le système de gestion de maintenance assistée par ordinateur (GMAO/SAP).
- Encadrer, former et développer les techniciens de maintenance, mécaniciens, électriciens et apprentis.
- Gérer l’affectation quotidienne des effectifs et s’assurer que les ressources humaines sont suffisantes.
- Réaliser les évaluations de performance et identifier les besoins de formation.
- Favoriser une culture de responsabilité, de travail d’équipe et d’amélioration continue.
- Superviser les activités de maintenance des engins miniers lourds, notamment :
- Tombereaux miniers (haul trucks)
- Pelles hydrauliques
- Chargeuses
- Niveleuses
- Bulldozers
- Foreuses
- Camions-citernes d’arrosage
- Autres équipements miniers auxiliaires
- Collaborer avec les équipes de Planification et de Supply Chain afin de garantir la disponibilité des pièces de rechange et des ressources nécessaires.
- Suivre les coûts de maintenance et optimiser l’utilisation des ressources.
- Participer aux activités de budgétisation et de prévision.
- Identifier les opportunités de réduction des coûts de maintenance tout en maintenant la fiabilité des équipements.
- Diriger les enquêtes liées aux défaillances des équipements, y compris les défaillances couvertes par garantie, et mettre en œuvre les actions correctives et préventives nécessaires.
- Préparer et soumettre les rapports de maintenance quotidiens, hebdomadaires et mensuels.
- Analyser les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI), notamment :
- Disponibilité des équipements
- Temps moyen entre pannes (MTBF)
- Temps moyen de réparation (MTTR)
- Taux de conformité de la maintenance
Qualifications
- Licence/Bachelor en Génie Mécanique, Génie de la Maintenance, Ingénierie des Équipements Lourds, ou qualification professionnelle de Mécanicien Engins Lourds (Heavy Duty Fitter), ou dans une discipline connexe.
- Des certifications complémentaires en gestion de la maintenance ou en maintenance des équipements lourds constituent un atout.
Expérience
- Minimum de 5 à 8 ans d’expérience dans la maintenance des équipements miniers lourds.
- Au moins 2 à 3 ans d’expérience dans un poste de supervision au sein d’opérations minières, de construction ou d’industries lourdes.
- Expérience sur des équipements de grands fabricants (OEM) tels que Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi, Sandvik ou Epiroc.
- Maîtrise des systèmes GMAO et de gestion de flotte tels que SAP.

- Langue : anglais obligatoire ; français souhaité.
- Capacité à travailler dans des environnements miniers isolés et à effectuer des déplacements selon les besoins.
- Engagement fort envers la sécurité et l’amélioration continue.
- En raison de l’éloignement du site et des contraintes liées aux déplacements, ce poste requiert une situation personnelle stable et bien organisée. Les personnes à charge doivent bénéficier d’un soutien adéquat pendant les périodes d’absence de l’employé.

About the Simandou Project
The Simandou Iron Ore Project is located in the Republic of Guinea, West Africa. It is Africa’s largest infrastructure and mining project and represents one of the largest known reserves of high-grade iron ore in the world.
Rio Tinto holds rights to Simandou Blocks 3 and 4 through SimFer, a joint venture between the Government of the Republic of Guinea, Rio Tinto and Chalco Iron Ore Holdings (CIOH). Construction of the mine, together with the associated rail and port infrastructure, is well underway with first production from the SimFer mine expected in 2025.
