Au sujet du poste
Le/La Conseiller(ère) Médical(e) Senior est chargé d’assurer la gestion des cas médicaux des employés nationaux de Simfer, avec une responsabilité principale concernant les maladies et blessures non liées au travail, les absences prolongées pour raison de santé, la réadaptation ainsi que le retour au travail sûr, durable et adapté des employés.
Le/La titulaire devra collaborer étroite avec les Ressources humaines, les responsables hiérarchiques, le prestataire de services médicaux, les fournisseurs de soins de santé externes (publics et privés) ainsi qu’avec l’assureur santé, afin de réduire les situations d’incapacité évitables et les absences de longue durée.
Il/elle assura également une fonction de liaison médicale sur le terrain avec les autorités sanitaires gouvernementales compétentes et les communautés locales, en coordination avec le Conseiller médical principal – Communautés et Performance sociale (CSP) ainsi qu’avec les autres représentants autorisés de Simfer.
Poste basé à Beyla, ouvert aux candidats guinéens uniquement avec un contrat local.
Relevant du HSE Principal Medical Advisor, il/elle aura les responsabilités suivantes :
- Élaborer et gérer des plans individualisés de réadaptation et de retour au travail, incluant les évaluations fonctionnelles, les aménagements du poste de travail, la définition de tâches adaptées et le suivi continu des dossiers des employés se remettant d’une maladie ou d’une blessure.
- Assurer la coordination médicale des cas complexes et des absences de longue durée, en recueillant les informations cliniques nécessaires, en sollicitant des spécialistes lorsque requis, en organisant des réunions de concertation et en veillant à la résolution rapide des obstacles au traitement ou au rétablissement.
- Collaborer étroitement avec les Ressources Humaines, les équipes de Santé au Travail, les superviseurs, les assureurs et les prestataires de soins de santé afin de favoriser un retour au travail sûr, adapté et durable, tout en garantissant la confidentialité des informations médicales des employés.
- Maintenir des processus rigoureux de gestion des dossiers médicaux, notamment la tenue de dossiers confidentiels, le suivi des congés maladie de longue durée, la validation des certificats médicaux et l’analyse des tendances d’absentéisme ainsi que des résultats des programmes de retour au travail.
- Fournir une expertise médicale à la Direction et aux Ressources Humaines sur les questions de réadaptation, d’aménagement du poste de travail, de reclassement médical et d’aptitude au travail, tout en veillant à ce que les décisions en matière d’emploi ou de discipline relèvent exclusivement du management habilité.
- Agir en tant qu’interlocuteur médical principal auprès des autorités sanitaires gouvernementales, en assurant l’escalade appropriée des cas critiques, sensibles ou à haut risque, et en soutenant les initiatives de santé publique, la préparation aux épidémies et les programmes de santé de la main-d’œuvre.
Ce que vous apporterez
- Diplôme de médecine avec une inscription professionnelle en cours de validité et sans restriction en Guinée, jouissant d’une bonne réputation au sein de la communauté médicale, complété par une qualification de troisième cycle ou une solide expertise pratique en médecine du travail, médecine familiale/interne, médecine de réadaptation, gestion des incapacités, santé publique ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Avoir au moins 8 ans d’expérience clinique pertinente, incluant une expérience significative en santé au travail, gestion de cas complexes, réadaptation ou santé des employés ; une expérience dans les secteurs minier, de la construction ou sur des sites isolés est fortement souhaitée.
- Démontrer un excellent jugement clinique, une forte autonomie professionnelle ainsi qu’une capacité à défendre les intérêts des employés tout en respectant strictement les exigences de confidentialité et d’éthique.
- Posséder une aptitude avérée à collaborer efficacement avec les équipes médicales, les Ressources Humaines et les opérationnels afin de concilier les impératifs de santé, de sécurité et de performance.
- Maîtriser les principes de gestion structurée des cas médicaux, incluant la priorisation des dossiers, le suivi rigoureux des actions, ainsi que la rédaction d’une documentation claire, précise et conforme.
- Faire preuve d’une forte sensibilité culturelle, d’excellentes compétences relationnelles et diplomatiques, et être capable d’interagir avec crédibilité auprès des autorités gouvernementales, des communautés et des partenaires externes.
- Avoir la capacité d’adhérer pleinement aux principes de sécurité, d’éthique professionnelle, de diversité, d’inclusion et de « zéro incident », et les promouvoir dans toutes les activités du poste.
- Posséder de solides capacités de collaboration, d’influence et de travail en équipe afin de développer des relations de confiance et de soutenir des solutions durables pour les employés et l’organisation.
- Démonter la capacité à travailler dans des environnements miniers isolés et à effectuer des déplacements selon les besoins opérationnels.
- Faire preuve d’un leadership avéré, d’excellentes capacités de gestion des parties prenantes, de coaching et de prise de décision, avec une maîtrise professionnelle de l’anglais et du français.

About the Simandou Project
The Simandou Iron Ore Project is located in the Republic of Guinea, West Africa. It is Africa’s largest infrastructure and mining project and represents one of the largest known reserves of high-grade iron ore in the world.
Rio Tinto holds rights to Simandou Blocks 3 and 4 through SimFer, a joint venture between the Government of the Republic of Guinea, Rio Tinto and Chalco Iron Ore Holdings (CIOH). Construction of the mine, together with the associated rail and port infrastructure, is well underway with first production from the SimFer mine expected in 2025.
