Nous sommes à la recherche d’un Conseiller(ère) principal(e), gestion des actifs qui travaillera en étroite collaboration avec l’ensemble des groupes de produits pour diriger les projets de gestion des actifs et les programmes axés sur le changement en vue de l’atteinte des objectifs opérationnels.

Il s’agit d’une excellente occasion pour un(e) professionnel de l’entretien/fiabilité ou de la gestion des actifs de faire avancer sa carrière en mobilisant de multiples groupes de produits et en travaillant avec eux pour améliorer le rendement des actifs et renforcer les capacités en vue de contribuer à bâtir un portefeuille durable de gestion des actifs, nous permettant d’accroître notre productivité dans le monde entier.

Relevant du Chef, gestion des actifs, dans l’équipe de développement des capabilités, et travaillant au sein de la communauté collaborative de l’équipe du Centre d’excellence en gestion des actifs, vous aurez les fonctions suivantes :

  • Diriger les groupes de produits et collaborer avec eux pour améliorer le rendement des actifs par la mise en œuvre de pratiques de gestion des actifs
  • Fournir une orientation et un encadrement aux équipes de direction quant à la mise en œuvre de processus et de procédures de gestion des actifs
  • Diriger les sites et collaborer avec eux pour uniformiser, reproduire et maintenir les processus et les procédures de gestion des actifs afin d’assurer une exploitation durable
  • Collaborer avec les sites pour intégrer et reproduire des pratiques exemplaires en matière de gestion des actifs
  • Collaborer avec les sites pour établir et renforcer les capacités de gestion des actifs existantes
  • Fournir une assistance dans le programme d’audits des groupes
  • Appuyer proactivement les unités d’affaires pour ce qui est du soutien de la gestion des actifs, de la réduction et l’atténuation du risque, de la protection du permis d’exploitation et de l’atteinte des objectifs stratégiques
  • Assumer la responsabilité de la relation harmonieuse entre le responsable fonctionnel des groupes de produits et le centre d’excellence de la gestion des actifs du groupe STP de Rio Tinto

Votre contribution

  • Engagement envers votre sécurité et celle de votre équipe
  • Formation supérieure en génie, en gestion des actifs, en traitement, entretien et exploitation, en analyse opérationnelle ou dans une autre discipline connexe
  • Vaste expérience et connaissance des différents éléments de la gestion des actifs
  • Expérience avérée dans la mise en œuvre/exécution/intégration d’initiatives d’amélioration de la gestion des actifs
  • Expérience en planification et en ordonnancement
  • Excellentes aptitudes à communiquer et à collaborer et grande capacité d’assurer avec efficacité la liaison entre les intervenants externes et internes
  • Grande capacité à s’adapter aux différents contextes des sites
  • Sept (7) années d’expérience avérée en leadership et plus et excellentes compétences pour influencer et négocier
  • Expérience à l’international et idéalement connaissance des installations fixes/d’équipement mobile lourd/portuaires/ferroviaires/électriques, etc. pour une gamme de matières premières
  • Maitriser le français et l’anglais à l’oral et à l’écrit. Rio Tinto est une entreprise mondiale et les fonctions de ce poste exigent une collaboration quotidiennement avec des collègues, des équipes ou des partenaires basés à l’extérieur du Québec

We are looking for a Principal Advisor – Asset Management who will work closely across Product Groups to collaborate and lead asset management projects and change programmes to deliver business objectives.

This is a great opportunity for a maintenance/reliability or asset management professional to take the next step in your career by engaging and working with multiple product groups to improve asset performance and develop capabilities to help build a sustainable asset management portfolio, assisting us in improving our productivity across the globe.

Reporting to the Lead Asset Management in a collaborative community within the Asset Management Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, you will be:

  • Leading and partnering with Product Groups to improve asset performance through implementation of asset management practices
  • Providing guidance and coach leadership teams on implementation of asset management processes and procedures
  • Leading and partnering with sites on standardizing, replicating and sustaining asset management processes and procedures to deliver sustainable operations
  • Partnering with sites to embed and or replicate leading asset management practice/s
  • Partnering with sites to build and strengthen existing asset management capabilities
  • Providing assistance with group assurance audits
  • Proactively supporting the BU’s with asset management support, risk reduction/mitigation, and protection of the license to operate and strategic objectives
  • Be responsible for seamless relationship between the product group business owner and Rio Tinto STP AM CoE

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Asset Management, Processing, Maintenance and Operation, Business Analysis or other relevant discipline
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of the different Asset Management elements
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing/executing/embedding Asset Management improvement initiatives
  • Experience in planning and scheduling
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with strong ability to liaise with external and internal stakeholders effectively
  • Strong ability to adapt to different site contexts
  • 7+ years of proven leadership experience with high influencing and negotiation skills
  • International experience and ideally knowledge of multiple commodities fixed plant/HME/ports/rails/power asset etc
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Rio Tinto is a global company and the duties of this position require daily collaboration with colleagues, teams or partners based outside Quebec.
