Au sujet du poste
Nous recherchons un(e) diplômé(e) en Environnement (HSE) pour nos installations Rio Tinto Aluminium au Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean.
Le stagiaire sera responsable des tâches suivantes :
- Assurer la conformité règlementaire du site et des activités;
- Évaluer les impacts environnementaux des activités de l’entreprise et proposer des mitigations;
- Coordonner la collecte de données environnementales et communiquer les exigences environnementales et les initiatives aux principaux intervenants dans l’organisation et à nos fournisseurs externes;
- Fournir des rapports, indicateurs et des statistiques requis par le groupe de direction et Rio Tinto
- Assurer un contrôle et suivi relatifs aux programmes de l’environnement (permis, dossiers, procédures, etc.);
- Diffuser des formations ou capsules de sensibilisation en environnement
- Participer à des audits SSE (ISO14001, ASI, etc.)
- Collaborer avec l’équipe relation communauté
Votre contribution
- Pour être admissible au programme de Nouveau Diplômé, vous devez obtenir votre diplôme en 2025 (ou avoir obtenu votre diplôme en 2024, ou 2023)
- Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en Environnement ou autre domaine connexe
- Moins de deux ans d’expérience professionnelle pertinente (locale et internationale)
- Droit de travailler au Canada
- Compétences en leadership, désir d’apprendre et prêt(e) à relever les défis à venir
- Flexibilité et autonomie
- Bonne capacité de communication et avoir une force dans le travail d’équipe
- Permis de conduire valide
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (à l’écrit comme à l’oral) – Rio Tinto est une société mondiale; les responsabilités associées à ce poste nécessitent de collaborer quotidiennement avec des collègues, des équipes et des partenaires hors Québec

Emplacement du poste
Rio Tinto Aluminium est présent au Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean depuis plus de 100 ans. Dans la région, nos installations comprennent une raffinerie d’alumine, quatre usines d’électrolyse, six centrales hydroélectriques, notre Centre de recherche et de développement Arvida, le Centre opérationnel aluminium, un chemin de fer et un port. Nos usines d’électrolyse à la fine pointe de la technologie produisent de l’aluminium certifié « responsable ».

Offers and checks
At this stage, we will let you know if you have been successful. If you have been, we’ll need to conduct a couple of checks, such as a background or security check. You may also need to do a medical assessment depending on the role you have applied for.
