L’équipe des communications de Rio Tinto est à la recherche d’un(e) conseiller(ière) sénior pour joindre son équipe. La personne travaillera à partir de notre Centre de Montréal et soutiendra les communications pour le Canada et pour le groupe de produit Aluminium au niveau mondial. Relavant de la directrice principale, Communications avec les employé(e)s, vous aurez l’occasion de :
- contribuer au développement et à la mise en œuvre d’une stratégie intégrée de communication avec les employé(e)s pour différentes régions et groupes de produits
- soutenir les équipes régionales dans la réalisation de projets clés et faire rayonner leurs initiatives
- assurer le déploiement local des programmes développés par l’équipe mondiale
- soutenir les activités de communication du Centre de Montréal
- développer du contenu pour nos différents outils de communication
- aborder la gestion des communications dans un environnement matriciel complexe
- travailler en collaboration avec d’autres équipes pour créer et faire rayonner nos initiatives
Votre contribution
- 5 à 10 ans d’expérience dans le domaine de la communication ou dans un domaine connexe (p. ex. : relations publiques, communications et marketing, etc.)
- Aptitudes démontrées en conception et mise en œuvre d’initiatives de communication engageantes
- Excellentes habiletés de rédaction
- Maitriser le français et l’anglais à l’oral et à l’écrit. Rio Tinto est une entreprise mondiale et les fonctions de ce poste exigent une collaboration quotidiennement avec des collègues, des équipes ou des partenaires basés à l’extérieur du Québec
- Grande capacité à bâtir un réseau de collaborateur(trice)s
- Grande capacité à travailler sur de multiples mandats simultanément
- Fortes compétences en matière de gestion de projets
- Expérience en organisation d’événements divers, en virtuel et en personne
- Flexibilité et autonomie
- Sens de l’organisation et attention aux détails
- Créativité
- Connaissance poussée de Teams, Zoom et autres outils d’événements virtuels, un atout

The Rio Tinto Communications team is looking for a Senior Advisor Employee Communications based at our Montreal Hub and supporting communications in Canada and across the global Aluminium product group.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Employee Communications, you will have the opportunity to:
- contribute to the development and execution of an integrated employee communications strategy across geography and business units
- support regional teams in carrying out key projects and highlighting their initiatives
- manage local deployment of programs developed by the global communications team
- support the Montreal Hub’s communications activities
- develop content for our various communications channels
- manage communications in a complex matrix environment
- work in close collaboration with other teams to create and amplify brilliant content
What you’ll bring
- 5 to 8 years’ experience in communications or a related field (e.g. public relations, communications and marketing, etc.)
- Demonstrated skills in designing and implementing engaging communications initiatives
- Excellent writing skills
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Rio Tinto is a global company, and the duties of this position require daily collaboration with colleagues, teams or partners based outside Quebec
- Strong ability to build a network of collaborators
- Ability to work on multiple mandates simultaneously
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in organising various events, both virtual and in-person
- Flexibility and autonomy
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
- Creativity
- Extensive knowledge of Teams, Zoom and other virtual event tools, an asset
