About the role
This role is accountable to schedule, optimise, enable, resource and forecast the Resource Development drill program. It will facilitate the operationalisation of technical scopes of work through to execution phase and govern the performance of our program to our financial plans.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, encouraged by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. This role has the following key responsibilities:
- Develop, own and effectively communicate quality quarterly plans for earthworks, drilling and rehabilitation to operations and technical scope owners
- Collaborate between the different technical disciplines and operations teams to ensure optimised quarterly plans developed are effective for execution
- Deliver regular schedule baselines and provide recovery plan scenarios for leadership
- Maintain planning routines that support execution and reconciliation of actuals (daily site scheduling, 2 week plan and quarterly plan)
- Manages operations requests ensuring guidance is provided to operational teams that delivers compliance against permit conditions
What you’ll bring
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members in planning and scheduling practises and systems
- Experience in Primavera (P6)
- Expertise planning and scheduling principles, practises, scenario planning and recovery plans
- Solid problem solving and analytical skills
- Good understanding of operational environment and productivity drivers
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
