About the role
We are looking for an PMO Advisors who will support several business units in the RTP Africa region. The purpose of this role will be to have developed expertise in a variety of work processes or activities typically developed through a combination education, job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. Independently solves problems that are of moderate level of complexity or are of a recurring nature. May be responsible to coach and train business partner team members.
Reporting to the Principal PMO, you will be:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Root Cause Analysis experience is advantageous but not essential
- Review and improve transactional activities. Creation, reviews, amendments, compliance etc.
- Review business processes, engage with stakeholders, review information “where used”, “Who does what to achieve what”
- Function related systems, users, inputs, outputs, system utilisation efficiencies, opportunities, cost and identify and scope improvements to existing systems and provide systems guidance.
- Combine Business Process and System reviews, engage with stakeholders, map potential solutions, draft Business requirement documentation, obtain buy-in, reporting, manage projects
- Takes accountability for own performance and understands the impacts of behaviours and actions on others
- Provide assistance in developing and implementing the Procurement Strategy and resolves problems with an open mind, viewing them as challenges rather than obstacles.
- Ensures that sound supply chain/ procurement processes are followed, project implementation methodologies are deployed, and implementation is completed in accordance with RTP’s process, documentation and governance requirements
- Takes initiatives to find solutions to problems and challenges and willingness to challenge established norms.
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders to understand their requirements and foster a collaborative environment focused on data excellence
What you’ll bring
- Degree or Diploma (Commerce, IT, Engineering)
- In depth understanding of Supply Chain, Contract management and contract management principles
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders across all spectrums of the operations.
- An appreciation and ability to grasp IT principles, system development and user requirements.
- Familiarity or an ability to quickly understand a variety of supply chain concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Proficient in English. French language proficiency will be advantageous
- Computer literate on MS Word, PowerBi, Projects & Excel
- SAP and Ariba experience will be highly advantageous
- Experience in working within a multi-cultural environment
- Project Management experience
