About the role:

Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs.

We are looking for a Business Partner Health Safety and Security Jadar to partner and collaborate with the stakeholders to manage a team of health and safety professionals.  

Reporting to the Minerals GM HSE you will be:

·        An experienced people leader with a focus on caring and collaborative behaviors, able to build and support an organizational culture where HSS is at the core of business decisions.

·        Managing the HSS function for the business, determine priorities, allocate resources, and deliver first and second line assurance.

·        Implementing processes and procedures to effectively control the critical HSS risks and the ability to influence leadership and the broader team to improve HSS performance.

·        Coaching, training, and supporting the development of aspiring local HSS professionals, to provide a legacy of experience for the safe and sustainable operations.

·        Translate business strategies, objectives, and context into an HSS implementation plan, coach, and mentor the team to support its implementation.

·        Proactively identify threats and opportunities to business objectives based on trends derived from data, conversations, and observations.

What you will bring

·        A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.

·        Bachelor’s degree in health, Safety and Security and/or relevant experience.

·        Solid experience in HSS leadership role, with a strength in health, safety and security management.

·        Excellent engagement and communication skills including experience in working with regulators and stakeholders and a demonstrated ability to influence.

·        Recognized as an influential people leader, able to coach, mentor and develop teams.

·        Ability to anticipate future functional and operational business needs, and effectively deploy functional resources to achieve agreed outcomes.

·        Experience working in project development and construction and/or the operation of mining, processing or other industrial sites is desirable.

·        Must have excellent communication skills, with fluency in English required

·        Sound judgment with strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities, able to interpret technical information and provide actionable advice.

·        Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring project success and alignment with project goals.

·        Familiarity with Serbian legislation and experience working with decision-making bodies like the Technical Evaluation Board and Project Evaluation Board.

Vaš nadređeni će biti generalni menadžer za bezbednost i zaštitu zdravlja na radu u proizvodnoj grupi Minerali u okviru kompanije Rio Tinto a vaša zaduženja podrazumevaju sledeće:

·        Sposobnost i iskustvo u vođenju tima u radnom okruženju koje vrednuje i neguje saradnju i timski duh, sposobnost razvoja i podrške organizacionoj kulturi u kojoj su bezbednost i zaštita zdravlja na radu i obezbeđenje (BZR) u osnovi poslovnih odluka.

·        Upravljanje aktivnostima u domenu bezbednosti i zaštiti zdravlja na radu, određivanje prioriteta, raspoređivanje resursa i obezbeđivanje prve i druge linije osiguranja poslovanja.

·        Primena procesa i procedura zarad efikasne kontrole kritičnih BZR rizika i rizika iz domena obezbeđenja, i sposobnost da se utiče na lidere i širi tim radi unapređenja rezultata iz oblasti bezbednosti i zaštite zdravlja na radu i obezbeđenja.

·        Koučing, obuka i podrška razvoju lokalnih perspektivnih BZR i profesionalaca za obezbeđenje, kako bismo obezbedili neophodno iskustvo za bezbedne i održive operacije na projektu.

·        Primena poslovnih strategija, ciljeva i konteksta u planu za realizaciju aktivnosti u domenu bezbednosti i zaštiti zdravlja na radu, obuku i mentorstvo tima koji učestvuje u realizaciji.

·        Proaktivna identifikacija potencijalne opasnosti i prilike za ispunjenje poslovnih ciljeva na osnovu procene postojećih situacija koje su zasnovane na konkretnim podacima, razgovorima i zapažanjima.

Šta ova pozicija zahteva

·        Posvećenost bezbednosti kako lične tako i bezbednosti svog tima i kolega.

·        Diploma osnovnih studija iz domena bezbednosti i zaštite zdravlja na radu  i/ili relevantno iskustvo.

·        Prethodno iskustvo u vođenju tima zaduženog za aktivnosti iz oblasti  bezbednosti i zaštitu zdravlja na radu i obezbeđenja.

·        Izražene sposobnosti za komunikaciju i saradnju, kao i iskustvo u radu sa donosiocima regulativa i zainteresovanim stranama i sposobnost uticaja na okolinu.

·        Osobine prepoznatljive za lidera koji ima sposobnost da utiče na ljude, da ih obučava, nastupa kao mentor i razvija timove.

·        Sposobnost predviđanja budućih funkcionalnih i operativnih poslovnih potreba i efikasna primena funkcionalnih resursa s ciljem postizanja željenih rezultata.

·        Iskustvo u radu na razvoju projekata i izgradnji i/ili rudarskim aktivnostima, procesima za preradu i drugim industrijskim lokacijama je poželjno.

·        Izuzetne komunikacione veštine, uz neophodno tečno poznavanje engleskog jezika

·        Sposobnost donošenja odluka i rešavanja problema kao i sposobnost tumačenja tehničkih informacija i pružanje primenljivih smernica.

·        Sposobnost prepoznavanja i realizacija aktivnosti na unapređenju procesa, uspeha na projektu i usklađivanje sa ciljevima projekta.

·        Poznavanje srpskog zakonodavstva i iskustvo u radu sa donosiocima odluka kao što su odbori interne i nezavisne tehničke i poslovne revizije.
