Trouver de meilleures façons de fournir les matériaux dont le monde a besoin.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Chef(fe) de programme, Amélioration du design des cuves d’électrolyse au Centre de Recherche et Développement Arvida (CRDA) de Rio Tinto division Aluminium.

Ce rôle est une excellente occasion de développer ses compétences techniques et de gestion dans une équipe de R&D industrielle en électrolyse composées de techniciens en génie chimique ainsi que des scientifiques et des ingénieurs. Relevant du chef de service aluminium responsable au CRDA, le titulaire du poste aura les responsabilités suivantes : 

  • Réaliser la saine gestion de l’équipe Amélioration du design des cuves d’électrolyse: gestion des budgets d’opération et budgets alloués aux activités de R&D, plans de remplacement des équipements critiques au déroulement des activités de R&D

  • Planifier avec son équipe les essais en usine et l’horaire des techniciens, pour l’avancement des projets et l’assistance technique, tout en assurant le respect des standards an santé, sécurité et environnement

  • Agir comme représentant de son équipe au niveau du chef de service (Comité de gestion)

  • Travailler en collaboration avec les scientifiques et l’équipe stratégie et innovation dans les alignements du programme et l’élaboration des budgets

  • Collaborer à l’élaboration des programmes de R&D pour l’électrolyse

  • Gérer les aspects administratifs de l’équipe (évaluation, plan de développement, …) des scientifiques et des techniciens

  • Favoriser l’innovation au sein de ses équipes

Votre contribution

Pour que votre candidature soit prise en considération, les exigences sont les suivantes :

  • Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en milieu industriel et en usine

  • Diplôme 1er cycle en science ou ingénierie

  • Excellentes aptitudes en relations interpersonnelles et en communication

  • Bonnes connaissances du procédé d’électrolyse

  • Fortes aptitudes en travail d’équipe et grande capacité d’adaptation face aux changements

  • Connaissances avancées de la suite Microsoft Office

  • Maitriser le français et l’anglais à l’oral et à l’écrit. Rio Tinto est une entreprise mondiale et les fonctions de ce poste exigent une collaboration quotidiennement avec des collègues, des équipes ou des partenaires basés à l’extérieur du Québec

  • Connaissance des outils d'amélioration continue Lean Six Sigma (Ceinture Noire)

Emplacement du poste

Rio Tinto Aluminium est présent au Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean depuis plus de 100 ans. Dans la région, nos installations comprennent une raffinerie d’alumine, quatre usines d’électrolyse, six centrales hydroélectriques, notre Centre de recherche et de développement Arvida, le Centre opérationnel aluminium, un chemin de fer et un port. Nos usines d’électrolyse à la fine pointe de la technologie produisent de l’aluminium certifié « responsable ».
