About the role

We are looking for a Superintendent Specialized Applications to lead the planning, implementation, governance and controls for the support services of Business Applications across America, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
This role is a great opportunity for someone with a demonstrated history in application delivery to make their mark across a broad and valuable portfolio of applications. Reporting to the Manager Specialized Applications, you will:

Lead a team of Business Application Specialists and outsourced integration partners, providing quality operational support services throughout the application lifecycle for a portfolio of about 400 applications.

Establish, manage and maintain systems and procedures to deliver operational support services to users of the Business Applications ensuring the solutions are maintained in a responsive and available state.

Manage support and budgets for operations and minor improvements.

Be responsible for the analysis, design and development of application standards and roadmaps across their technical domain, which includes the establishment and maintenance of systems and procedures within the American region that aligns with the best practices of the industry.

Be the primary expert in Business Applications domain – provide advice, consultation and expertise to Business Partners, Project Managers and Business Unit customers.

Track critical or complex incidents.

Maintain relationships with outsourced partners and manage service levels to contractual standards.

Support the technology strategy by contributing to the modernization of applications to corporate platforms

Implement and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives
What you’ll bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
-
University degree required
-
Over 5 years’ experience in a global organization in a similar role in IT
-
Significant experience leading a team
-
Be able to communicate fluently in both languages – English & French
-
Strong experience in the engagement of business representatives, analysing business requirements, 3rd party vendor management and ability to identify and develope technical solutions

Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship building skills
-
Be customer-oriented and have a solid understanding of the challenges with the operations of the applications

Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile methodologies and DevOps
-
Technical competencies and skills in Microsoft Server/ SQL, .NET, Active Directory, Azure, coding & development skills desirable.

Experience with web-based client applications and enterprise deployment strategies

Azure and ITIL certifications an asset
