The Resource Development team provides support and sustains Pilbara Operations, through delivery of Ore Body Knowledge that ensures resources are developed in time, future value opportunities are identified and developed.
The Modelling and Data Systems team within Resource Development are seeking a Data Management professional experienced in Geoscientific data to oversee data management product support. The team manages support tickets for systems including acQuire, EnviroSys, ProTrak and Imago using Jira Service Management. The role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your data management skills to prioritise and resolve tickets, mentor analysts and collaborate with Data Systems specialists on various projects.
The Specialist Data Systems Support Management position is based in Perth with some site travel to the Pilbara, this role has the following key responsibilities:

Oversee the support ticketing system using JSM to ensure prompt and efficient responses

Prioritise and resolve support tickets based on urgency, size and effort

Manage the support roster to ensure support coverage

Mentor a team of analysts fostering a collaborative and supportive environment

Develop the internal knowledgebase to facilitate self service product support

Leverage a network of experienced personnel across all Resource Development functions to deliver a collaborative system support model

Collaborate with product vendors to maintain and enhance performance and user experience

Your team will deliver the information that will be used to model and design mines.

What You Will Bring

Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, specifically with Geoscientific data.

Experience managing tasks using Jira Service Management or similar tools.

Proficiency in SQL development using Microsoft SQL Server.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
-
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
-
Relevant tertiary degree in Geology or IT
Desirable:

Experience configuring JIRA
-
Additional development experience such as C#.NET, Power Platform, GitHub and Python
-
Proficiency in managing systems like acQuire, EnviroSys, ProTrak, and Imago

Where you will be working
You and your team will be Perth based with opportunity to work flexibly from home combined with time in our Central Park offices. Our wider Resource Development Division is spread across a combination of Perth and Pilbara Resource Development sites.
This role is open to both full time and part time applicants. Some visits to Pilbara sites will be required however these can be accommodated on a very flexible basis.
