About the role

We are looking for an experienced Emergency Services Officer to work within a team to support the standardisation and growth of emergency services.

Reporting to the Emergency Services Supervisors, you will:

• Be committed to promoting a safe culture according to the Rio Tinto values and policy
• Develop and maintain effective networks through collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure operational capability and response
• Continuously train and develop site ERT teams
• Perform alcohol & other drug testing

What you’ll bring

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

• Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance)
• Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue
• Respond to Wildfire
• Alcohol and Other Drugs Collector
• A current Manual HR class drivers licence

It will also be beneficial if you have:

• Bachelor of Paramedical Science or Nursing
• AIIMS Incident Management
