Nous sommes à la recherche d’un ou d’une spécialiste, Gestion du portefeuille et de la demande, pour gérer et uniformiser les pratiques au sein de notre division Plateformes technologiques, y compris la gestion de la demande, la gestion et la gouvernance du portefeuille de Plateformes technologiques, et l’encadrement des équipes en ce qui a trait aux pratiques de gestion de portefeuille Agile et Lean. Ce poste est une excellente occasion de superviser les processus de gestion de la demande et du travail de Plateformes technologiques, ainsi que les processus et pratiques de gestion de portefeuille dans les régions Amériques et EMOA auprès de nos parties prenantes clés et de nos équipes.

Relevant du ou de la chef (e) de service, Gestion de portefeuille, Plateformes technologiques, la personne titulaire du poste aura les responsabilités suivantes :

  • Gestion de la demande et gestion du travail – Diriger les processus de gestion de la demande de Plateformes technologiques et collaborer avec les gestionnaires des demandes et les parties prenantes élargies, en accordant la priorité à la valeur et à la gouvernance efficace. Travailler auprès des différents piliers de l’équipe Plateformes technologiques et mettre en œuvre les processus de gestion de la demande et du travail.
  • Gouvernance et gestion du portefeuille de Plateformes technologiques – Mettre en œuvre les processus de gestion du portefeuille de Plateformes technologiques dans la région, en veillant à ce que les processus et les procédures soient définis et intégrés. La personne titulaire du poste doit également veiller à ce que les prestations soient conformes aux objectifs et résultats clés (OKR) de Plateformes technologiques et des S&TI.
  • Planification des capacités – Mobiliser les clients pour contribuer à la planification du portefeuille à venir et prendre en charge la demande par rapport au travail généré en interne, permettant ainsi de planifier efficacement les capacités futures.
  • Gestion de la performance – Surveiller les indicateurs et les cartes de pointage de la gestion du portefeuille et de la demande, et communiquer avec les parties prenantes.

  • Capacité éprouvée à établir une relation étroite avec les parties prenantes clés pour transformer les objectifs de planification à long terme en résultats réalisables.
  • Excellentes compétences écrites et orales, doublées de solides capacités analytiques et d’un esprit critique.
  • Solide compréhension de la gestion et du cadre de réalisation de projets informatiques.
  • Compréhension de la gestion du cycle de vie des produits et des méthodes de travail agiles.
  • Excellentes aptitudes de négociation et capacité d’influencer les autres; capacité de travailler à tous les niveaux de l’entreprise.
  • Expérience en prestation de services au sein d’un environnement opérationnel intégré.
  • Compréhension des risques et capacité de les gérer au niveau des technologies et des équipes

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Portfolio Management to manage and align practices within Technology Platforms, including demand management, technology platforms portfolio management and governance, coaching teams in agile and lean portfolio management practices. This role provides a great opportunity for oversight Technology Platforms demand and work management processes and portfolio management processes and practices in the AMER-EmEA region across our key stakeholders and teams.

Reporting to the Manager – TP Portfolio Management, you will be:

  • Demand Management & Work Management –Responsible for leading the Technology Platforms demand management processes and collaborate with Demand Managers and extended stakeholders focusing on value and effective governance. Work with the different pillars of the Technology Platforms team and implement the demand and work management processes.   
  • Technology Platforms Portfolio Management Governance – Responsible for implementing the Technology Platforms portfolio management processes in the region, ensuring that process and procedures defined and embedded. This role is also responsible to ensure the delivery is aligned with the Technology Platforms and IS&T OKRs.
  • Capacity Planning- Responsible for engaging customers to help plan the future pipeline and intake of the demand vs internally generated work, which enables effective future capacity planning.
  • Performance Management – Monitor the Portfolio and Demand Management metrics and score cards and engage with stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and communication skills, with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Solid understanding of IT Project Management and framework.
  • Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management and Agile Ways of Working.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to operate at all levels of the business.
  • Experience in delivering in an integrated operational environment.
  • Understanding and the ability to manage risk across technology and teams.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Rio Tinto is a global company and the duties of this position require daily collaboration with colleagues, teams or partners based outside Quebec.
