About the role
We are offering an opportunity for those interested in coaching and developing people to improve capability in Asset management as a Stream Lead – Asset Management in our Improvement Division. This opportunity involves being deployed to site, coaching and developing teams to improve the maturity and effectiveness of their Asset Management Routines and Leading Practices.
The Improvement Division plays an integral role in supporting our site based teams in the implementation of the Rio Tinto Safe Production System, and this opportunity will leverage both technical and adaptive techniques to provide on the job capability development of our site based teams in the application of asset management practices. Demonstrated experience in leading teams through improvement in the maturity of Asset Management practices and processes is essential, as well as the ability to coach and influence.
Reporting to the Manager – Fixed Plant and MEM Productivity and working in a collaborative and exciting environment within our Improvement team you will;
• Develop relationships and build trust within the site based teams to understand how to best support them to improve their maturity and outcomes in the application of Asset Management practices and routines
• Provide on the job coaching to leaders and their teams on the implementation and embedding of Asset Management practices and routines
• Support the development of leadership capability with the application of adaptive Mindsets and Behaviours techniques
• Contribute to the development and implementation of site Asset Management Improvement Plans of biological assessment methods, processes and technologies to ensure continuous improvement
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external technical specialists
• Contribute toward an inclusive culture through collaboration with peers across the broader Improvement and Maintenance Planning & Engineering teams
