About the role

We are looking for a Supervisor Facilities to join the Winu Team in Perth. Reporting to the Superintendent Facilities and Infrastructure, you will be the front-line leader, overseeing the direct supervision of facilities and infrastructure operation employees and coordinating resource deployment to meet safety requirements and deliverables efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- General Leadership accountabilities include recruitment of talent, setting team and individual expectations, monitor performance, provide effective feedback, coach, mentor and develop team members, conduct performance assessment and review, reward and recognition, managing unsatisfactory performance and behavior including termination when necessary.
- Recommends and/or initiates actions involving establishing job expectations, providing direction or work priorities and methods of performing tasks.
- Schedule staff for appropriate work shifts and maintains desired levels of productivity, quality, costs and service.
- Implements infrastructure operation plan to maximize productivity while minimizing cost and environmental impact.
- Coordinates the assignment of people and equipment to safely, effectively and efficiently accomplish the plan.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of costs by identifying and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborates with other functions in the performance of duties.
- Completes shift reports, timesheets, incident reports, monthly reports and other required reports.
- Ensures compliance with safety standards and procedures.
- Assumes all legal responsibilities as required by local legislation relevant to the type of operation.

Where you’ll be working
Winu
Winu is a 100% Rio Tinto owned copper-gold mineralization project in the Yeneena Basin of the Paterson Province in Western Australia. The project is located approximately 130 km north of the Telfer mine and 350 km southeast of Port Hedland. Teams at Winu are taking an agile approach to greenfield project development and being innovative in the way we bring a mine from exploration to production.
