We’re looking for skilled Electrical Technicians to help maintain our electrical equipment running smoothly at our mine sites and facilities. What You’ll Be Doing – Building a Zero Harm commitment as you:
- Learn to work on and maintain electrical systems, including motors, pumps and other equipment we use to mine and process our minerals.
- Help to plan and organize electrical maintenance tasks to ensure our systems operate optimally.
- Work independently and collaboratively with your crew to ensure the job is completed safely and correctly.
- Build relationships in cross-functional teams, developing solutions and adjusting maintenance tactics to prevent unplanned maintenance.
- Enhance your electrical skills and leadership abilities as you contribute to building strong teams.
- Work in a world class environment and help to bring needed resources to the market.
What You’ll Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in electrical work, heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license.
- A strong belief in working safely and being a good team player.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Bonus Points if You Have:
- An Electrical Journeyperson Certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience working in the mining industry (an asset, but we welcome all backgrounds).
- Experience with electrical systems in factories or commercial buildings.
