Nous sommes à la recherche de deux formateurs techniques pour rejoindre notre équipe. Vous aurez pour objectif de former les opérateurs et les techniciens sur les équipements d’opération et en HSEQ, afin de les aider à devenir des technicien/opérateurs capables d’opérer les équipements sécuritairement et techniquement dans leur domaine d’intervention respective.
Rattaché(e) au Conseiller Senior Formation et Développement, vos principales responsabilités consisteront à :
1. Former les opérateurs au fonctionnement de l'équipement de contrôle des processus dans les installations fixes
2. Planifier, organiser et diriger des formations en compétence de base des opérateurs et techniciens sur la maintenance des équipements
3. Concevoir, examiner et communiquer les calendriers d'exécution et d'évaluation des programmes de formation, veiller à ce que tous les calendriers soient mis en œuvre d’une manière à garantir que les formations sont exécutées comme prévu et qu'elles répondent aux exigences de l'entreprise
4. Organiser la formation en classe et sur le terrain des employés nouvellement recrutés, y compris l'orientation sur le site des opérations sur les tâches assignées
5. Organiser et élaborer ou obtenir des manuels et des guides de procédures de formation et des supports de cours tels que des documents à distribuer et des supports visuels
6. Participer activement à diverses activités de sécurité relatif au besoin des formations des employés.
7. Évaluer les besoins et coordonner la mise en œuvre des formations proposées par les départements concernés
Votre contribution :
• Un diplôme d’université en Electromécanique ou Géni industrielle (Bac+3) ou équivalent.
• Minimum 5 ans d’expérience en équipements miniers.
• Parler couramment le français et l’anglais sera un atout.
• Bonne compréhension des procédures opérationnelles normalisées pour tous les équipements mobiles lourds de la mine.
• Connaissance des principes liés à la formation et bonne connaissance de la formation basée sur les compétences.
• Bonne compréhension du domaine de l'éducation des adultes et des principes de conception de matériel d'apprentissage en ligne.
• Compétences en matière de planification et d'organisation suffisantes pour mener à bien des cours de formation.
• Excellentes compétences en matière de facilitation, de présentation, de prise de parole en public, de relations interpersonnelles et de communication orale et écrite, avec la capacité de communiquer, de persuader, de motiver et de transmettre des connaissances.
• Capacité à motiver et à instruire/former les autres, en utilisant un langage à la fois technique et non technique pour expliquer des sujets et des processus complexes.

Technical Trainer

About the role

We are looking for two Technical Trainers to join our team. Your main objective will be to train operators and technicians on operational equipment and HSEQ standards, helping them become capable of operating equipment safely and effectively within their respective fields.
Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Learning and Development, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Training operators in the operation of process control equipment in fixed facilities.
2. Planning, organizing, and conducting foundational skills training for operators and technicians in equipment maintenance.
3. Designing, reviewing, and communicating training implementation and evaluation schedules, ensuring they are executed as planned and meet the company’s standards.
4. Delivering classroom and on-the-job training for newly hired employees, including operational site orientation on assigned tasks.
5. Organizing and developing or sourcing training manuals, procedure guides, handouts, and visual materials.
6. Actively participating in safety-related activities to identify training needs among employees.
7. Assessing needs and coordinating the implementation of training initiatives requested by relevant departments.
What you’ll bring
• A university degree in Electromechanics or Industrial Engineering (Bachelor’s level or equivalent).
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience with mining equipment.
• Fluency in French is required; English proficiency is an asset.
• Strong understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all mine heavy mobile equipment.
• Knowledge of training principles and experience in competency-based training.
• Solid understanding of adult education principles and e-learning design.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to execute training programs successfully.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, public speaking, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Ability to motivate and train others, using both technical and non-technical language to explain concepts and processes.
