Nous sommes à la recherche d’un (e) Conseiller (ère) Senior en Relation avec le Gouvernement qui sera chargé (e) de travailler avec la joint-venture pour aider à la préparation des ordres du jour des réunions du conseil d’administration, de ses documents et des rapports d’activité, tout en facilitant les pré-engagements et en fournissant des informations sur le point de vue du gouvernement et des autres parties prenantes du pays.

Poste basé à Conakry, uniquement ouvert aux Guinéens avec un contrat de travail local.
Relevant du Directeur des Relations Gouvernementales il/elle sera responsable des activités suivantes :
- Collaborer étroitement avec les Co-secondées des joint-ventures gérées et non gérées pour fournir un appui dans la gestion des processus du conseil d’administration en assurant les meilleurs pratiques et la protection des intérêts de Rio Tinto.
- Collaborer avec les équipes de Rio Tinto et Affaires Externes pour suivre activement et mettre en œuvre les questions découlant des résolutions du conseil d’administration, en particulier celles liées aux orientations et aux instructions émises par le gouvernement, en veillant à ce que les réponses soit apportée en temps opportun.
- Mettre l’accent sur l’engagement avec le gouvernement et les parties prenantes locales en collaborant avec les équipes d’Affaire Externes, le PMO du gouvernement et les agences concernées. Ainsi gérer le flux d’information et de rapports avec le gouvernement afin d’établir une relation transparente et digne de confiance.
- Identifier et surveiller de manière proactive les problèmes potentiels et la dynamique du partenariat entre gouvernement et les autres parties prenantes tout en fournissant un aperçu des problèmes ainsi que des stratégies d’atténuation et des conseils de mise en œuvre pour les pratiques Joint-Venture qui s’alignent sur les accord et règlements pertinents.
- S’engager et collaborer efficacement avec les parties prenantes internes et externes pour mener à bien les missions.
- Ce que vous apporterez :
- Avoir un Diplôme Universitaire en Administration des Affaires, Droit ou domaine connexe.
- Avoir une très bonne maitrise de l’Anglais, du Français est essentiel pour ce rôle et le Mandarin (Chinois) est un atout
- Avoir une expérience avérée dans une fonction similaire, démontrant un sens aigu des affaires en matière de gestion de projets, de gouvernances d’entreprise et de relations avec les pouvoirs publics.
- Expertise étendue et compréhension approfondie de la planification stratégique, des exigences en matière de contenu local, des lois et des règlementations, ainsi qu’une bonne compréhension des modèles d’affaires dans le contexte Guinéen.
- Expérience avérée du travail efficace dans des environnements multiculturels, avec une capacité démontré à comprendre des dossiers d’affaires complexes.
- Être un communicateur et un animateur exceptionnel qui excelle dans le travail d’équipe et qui sait cultiver et maintenir une réputation positive au sein de l’organisation.

About the Simandou Project
The Simandou Iron Ore Project is located in the Republic of Guinea, West Africa. It is Africa’s largest infrastructure and mining project and represents one of the largest known reserves of high-grade iron ore in the world.
Rio Tinto holds rights to Simandou Blocks 3 and 4 through SimFer, a joint venture between the Government of the Republic of Guinea, Rio Tinto and Chalco Iron Ore Holdings (CIOH). Construction of the mine, together with the associated rail and port infrastructure, is well underway with first production from the SimFer mine expected in 2025.
