About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and safety-focused Team Leader – Site Control & Security to join our Yarwun operations in Gladstone. This role is responsible for leading a team that ensures secure, efficient, and seamless access to site facilities for employees, contractors, and visitors.
You will oversee the management of multiple access, security, and profile systems to enable authorised personnel to move through approved areas without disruption—supporting operational continuity and compliance with site protocols and compliance with safety and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the Site Control & Security team to ensure safe and efficient access to site for all personnel.

Manage and maintain multiple access control systems, security databases, and personnel profiles.

Ensure all employees and contractors can access approved areas without delays or issues.

Monitor compliance with site entry protocols and security standards.

Coordinate with emergency response, health & safety, and operational teams as needed.

Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in access and security processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with asset strategies and business objectives.
About You

Experience in site security, access control, or facilities coordination in a mining or industrial environment.

Strong understanding of access management systems and security protocols.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

High attention to detail and a commitment to safety and confidentiality.
