About the Opportunity:
In this supervisory role, you will be responsible for driving the consistent implementation of standard work practices, processes, and tools across multiple business units. Your focus will be on leading teams, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining oversight to enhance service productivity and efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing – Building a Zero Harm Commitment:
- Lead a logistics function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational standards
- Enforce adherence to established logistics principles, practices, and procedures
- Oversee end-to-end logistical operations, including inventory control, warehousing, and transportation to maintain optimal supply levels
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams involved in sourcing, inventory, transport, warehousing, and customer service to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor and optimize logistics workflows using systems, controls, and performance metrics to drive productivity and quality
- Manage personnel activities including recruitment, training, and performance supervision
- Ensure full compliance with legal regulations and internal company policies

- Expertise: Over a decade of experience managing complex end-to-end logistics operations, inventory control, transportation, and warehousing, delivering safe, efficient, and reliable results in industrial environments.
- Contract Management Leadership: Experienced in leading third-party vendor and contractor management, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, compliance oversight, and ensuring alignment with safety, operational, and financial objectives.
- Strong Leadership and Team Development: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop diverse teams while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement in safety and operations.
- Process Standardization and Optimization: Skilled in implementing standard work practices, Lean methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, service delivery, and cost control.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Adept at partnering with sourcing, procurement, transportation, warehousing, customer service, and operational teams to deliver seamless, integrated logistics performance aligned with organizational goals.
- Data-Driven Performance Management: Proficient in leveraging systems, metrics, and controls to monitor safety and operational KPIs, identify risks, and drive targeted improvements.
- Mining and Industrial Supply Chain Expertise: In-depth understanding of logistics operations within mining and heavy industry, with a focus on compliance, high-risk activities, and safety-critical environments.
