About the Role
Are you a passionate and technically skilled electrical engineer ready to power the future of aluminium production? Pacific Aluminium is seeking a Power Engineer to join our Bell Bay team. In this role, you’ll lead critical power supply projects, provide expert technical advice, and drive continuous improvement in high-voltage systems across our site.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver site power supply projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Act as the subject matter expert for all high-voltage systems, including protection systems and operations.

Maintain and apply fault and arc flash calculations.

Ensure compliance with electrical standards, regulations, and safety systems.

Collaborate across teams to support site-wide goals and initiatives.

Participate in safety systems and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
-
Degree or diploma in Electrical or Power Engineering.
-
Industrial experience including DC rectification (desirable).

Experience in Power System Modelling
-
Strong analytical and fault-finding skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for learning and improvement.

Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Exposure to Lean principles (advantageous).
