Take the next step in your mobile maintenance career as an Asset Health Technician at our Pannawonica operation.
We are looking for someone who is a self-motivated, professional, with strong communication skills a positive and inclusive attitude as well as having a focus on continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity to further your skills and career.

Working a roster of 8 days, 6 days off and reporting to the Asset Health Supervisor, you will be:

Monitoring the health of heavy mining equipment using real time data.

Inspect, identify and monitor cracks in the heavy mobile equipment fleet, providing guidance to the execution team on required actions

Conduct inspections high stress points in assets to determine asset condition (absence of cracks)

Comply with all relevant internal and industry-accepted standards in the execution of NDT and condition-based inspection works, identifying and recommending improvements in NDT inspection and HME welding practices
-
Accurately report all completed inspections using approved reporting formats and templates, including SAP, and responsible for ensuring data is maintained accurately in the relevant databases

Analysing HME data to identify and prioritise issues or activities identified as safety critical events whilst optimising production opportunities

Providing expert advice from both your experience working on HME or with the aid of electronic manuals to assist in increasing machine availability or performance

Support root cause analysis activities

Work closely with maintenance and reliability engineers and specialist advisors

Identifying predictive maintenance activities and generating notifications

Analysing HME oil samples and providing subsequent recommendations to sites

Heavy machinery trade qualification

A strong safety focused mindset

Knowledge of SAP maintenance systems

ISO9712 Certified in UT1, MT2 and VT2

ISO9712 Certified in UT2 Welds (Preferred)

Oil analysis experience
-
Experience in maintaining HME – Komatsu, Caterpillar, Hitachi
