About the role
The Principal Advisor EA (PA EA) plays a critical role in shaping and executing our digital strategy aligned with business and enterprise architecture goals. The role also provides guidance to support the design and delivery of effective solutions. This role will ensure the “right technology” is selected for the right business outcomes; to reduce complexity, increase organizational agility and drive competitive advantage in this space.
Working closely with the domain architecture team, the PA EA ensures that the digital strategy is fit for purpose and solutions are holistic – integrating data, technology, processes and people while remaining aligned to organisations strategic objectives and technology standards.
What You’ll Do

Drive digital transformation by identifying and integrating emerging technologies and implementing best practices

Leading to outcomes through influence to execute customer-centric enterprise architecture strategies

Collaborate with various stakeholders to create and execute an architecture vision and strategy

Shape investments and drive architectural direction to foster re-use of application architecture components

Ensure alignment of business and technology architecture

Standardize technologies, services, and patterns within the Domain and across the organization

Guide the enhancement of strategic business processes in accordance with automation or contemporary technologies

Manage technology dependencies across Products, Product Lines, Domains, and Platforms

Design large or complex systems, ensuring a balance between functional and non-functional requirements
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
-
Expertise in architecture frameworks (TOGAF etc.), methodologies and best-practices, targeting delivery of sustainable people, process and technology outcomes

Deep understanding of the either /both business domain(s) in their scope – particularly functional processes and existing solutions, and/or specialist technology domain – e.g. cloud, communications, networking.

Ability to move up and down the architecture levels

Possesses strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, crucial for leading discussions and driving consensus
-
Skilled in cultivating and growing relationships across various business levels, contributing to a collaborative work environment
-
Adept at seeking and building consensus and driving clear decision making across multiple viewpoints
-
Experience in Commercial and commodity trading preferred
