About the Opportunity:
Note: We are Offsite Repairs. We do however go to sites to process cores out, address concerns with end users, execution teams, and vendors.
As a Specialist, Repairable – You will play a critical role in supporting the offsite repair process for critical components and materials. You will work closely with vendors, maintenance teams, and procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality repair solutions. Your focus will be on improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
What You’ll Be Doing – Building a Zero Harm Commitment:
- Support offsite repair activities by evaluating repair specifications and component longevity.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment and parts failures and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to implement design improvements.
- Monitor and report on key repair metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure vendor compliance with repair procedures and specifications.
- Provide cost analysis and reporting on repairable components and improvements.
- Assist in contract management and vendor qualification for onsite repair services.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Support the implementation of standard work practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Unwavering Safety Leadership: Demonstrated commitment to Zero Harm and safe work practices.
- Technical Expertise: 2–5 years of experience in equipment repair, reliability, maintenance support or materials in an industrial setting.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze repair data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Vendor Management: Experience working with vendors and contractors in a technical or repair capacity.
- Process Improvement: Familiarity with Six Sigma, RCFA, FMEA, or similar methodologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with maintenance, procurement, and operations teams.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Systems Knowledge: 2–5 years of Experience with ERP systems (SAP, WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
