Reportando al Gerente de Experiencia de Personas, tus responsabilidades serán:

Trabajar de manera segura conforme a los estándares de seguridad de Rio Tinto, liderando e involucrándote activamente en iniciativas que promuevan nuestra cultura de “Cero daño”.

Gestionar la implementación de proyectos e iniciativas del Plan de Personas.

Proporcionar retroalimentación sobre políticas y programas de RRHH al Socio de Negocios de RRHH y otros actores internos para impulsar mejoras.

Colaborar con colegas del equipo de Socios de Negocios de RRHH y directamente con líderes de tu área de responsabilidad para identificar iniciativas y planes de recursos humanos que apoyen sus planes de negocio.

Gestionar y desarrollar el desempeño del equipo de asesores conforme a los valores de Rio Tinto para alcanzar los objetivos.

Brindar coaching a líderes para fomentar relaciones laborales efectivas y mejorar sus habilidades en gestión de personas.
-
Implementar reportes y métricas de recursos humanos, y escalar temas emergentes utilizando datos para impulsar la resolución de problemas y la toma de decisiones.

Trabajar con líderes operacionales para fortalecer la capacidad de relaciones laborales en el negocio y apoyar la comprensión de la estrategia y el marco de relaciones laborales.

Contribuir al establecimiento de convenios colectivos, brindando experiencia y orientación durante el proceso de negociación colectiva.
-
Actuar como asesor de confianza para el liderazgo, ofreciendo orientación en gestión del cambio, planificación de fuerza laboral y alineación cultural.
Lo que necesitas para este rol
Para tener éxito en este rol, deberás contar con:
-
Compromiso con la seguridad propia y del equipo.
-
Título universitario o terciario en Gestión de Recursos Humanos, Relaciones Laborales, Relaciones Industriales o campo relacionado, o una combinación de educación y experiencia relevante.
-
Mínimo de 7 años de experiencia generalista en RRHH o relaciones laborales, idealmente en entornos de grandes industrias.
-
Experiencia monitoreando e interpretando legislación laboral y marcos regulatorios en evolución, traduciéndolos en acciones concretas para las operaciones diarias.
-
Experiencia demostrada en liderazgo.
-
Sólidas habilidades de comunicación en español e inglés; el portugués es altamente deseable.
-
Excelente comprensión de prácticas laborales sindicalizadas y del proceso de negociación colectiva.
-
Experiencia en la implementación de proyectos de RRHH.

Reporting to the HR Manager People Experience, you will be:

Working safely in accordance with Rio Tinto safety standards – actively leading and engaging in safety initiatives promoting our “Zero harm” safety culture.

Managing the delivery of projects and initiatives on the People Plan.
-
Providing feedback on HR policies and programs to the HR Business Partner and other internal stakeholders to drive improvements.
-
Working with HR Business Partner colleagues, as well as directly with leaders in their area of responsibility, on their business plans and identify necessary human resources initiatives and plans to support them.

Managing and developing the performance of the advisory team in line with Rio Tinto’s company values, to achieve objectives.
-
Providing coaching to leaders to support effective workplace relationships and increase skill level in employee management.
-
Implementing human resource reporting and metrics and escalate emerging human resource issues and themes with a focus on using data to drive problem solving and decision making.
-
Working with operational leaders to build employee relations capability across the business and providing support with understanding the strategy and how to work within the employee relations framework.
-
Contributing to the establishment of collective agreements, providing expertise and guidance throughout the Collective Bargaining process.
-
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing guidance on change management, workforce planning, and cultural alignment.
What you will need for this role
To succeed in this role, you will have:
-
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.

Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
-
A minimum of 7 years of extensive generalist HR or labour relations experience, ideally with experience in a heavy industry environment.
-
Experience monitoring and interpreting evolving labor legislation and regulatory frameworks, translating them into actionable insights for day-to-day operations.
-
Demonstrated leadership experience.
-
Strong communication skills in Spanish and English, Portuguese is highly desirable.
-
Excellent understanding of unionized labour relations practices and the collective bargaining process.

Experience delivering HR projects.
