Estamos buscando un Superintendente de Salud, Higiene, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente (HSE) para apoyar la implementación de programas de HSE para las operaciones de litio de Rincón. Debe brindar apoyo en la gestión de riesgos del sitio con mitigación y controles proactivos, así como garantizar el cumplimiento del marco regulatorio de Salud y Seguridad en Argentina; además de proporcionar supervisión técnica de las actividades de salud y seguridad para las operaciones.
El puesto también deberá impulsar los estándares de Rio Tinto, incluidos los requisitos mínimos de HSE de las operaciones de Rincón Litio para contratistas.
Reportando al Gerente de HSE y trabajando en un entorno colaborativo, debe:
- Desarrollar, apoyar y guiar un equipo que brinde soporte de HSE en el campo en todos los niveles de perforación y operaciones.
- Estar en contacto y comunicarse abiertamente con el Gerente de HSE sobre el estado, las necesidades y el cumplimiento de las operaciones.
- Comunicarse regularmente con las partes interesadas clave y los empleados operativos, con respecto a los deberes de HSE, los planes y la mejora del desempeño en el trabajo.
- Participar (cuando sea necesario) en las revisiones del plan de trabajo para ayudar a demostrar la preparación de HSE para la ejecución en el campo.
- Proporcionar información de HSE al Plan de Capacitación.
- Participar en la investigación de incidentes y el análisis de causas / 5 por qué, como experto en la materia de HSE.
- Participar/apoyar auditorías, incluidas las evaluaciones del Modelo de Madurez de Seguridad (SMM) de Rio Tinto, para garantizar que se cumplan los requisitos de HSE.
- Participar en actividades clave de Rio Tinto y contratistas, por ejemplo, movilización de equipos, revisiones/inspecciones, desarrollo de JAI, etc.
Gestión de HSE:
- Apoyar los programas de HSE (planes, sistemas, procedimientos, estándares) para controlar los riesgos.
- Apoyar y participar en el aseguramiento de la 1ª línea de acuerdo con los estándares de Rio Tinto.
- Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con los equipos de operaciones y proyectos para desarrollar e implementar planes específicos para mitigar los riesgos críticos identificados en el sitio.
- Apoyar la cultura de seguridad y la mejora continua mediante la construcción de relaciones entre equipos.
- Proporcionar orientación técnica y apoyo a todos los miembros del equipo en relación con los estándares de RT a través de capacitación y tutoría.

About the Feature

We are looking for a Superintendent of Health, Hygiene, Safety and Environment (HSE) to support the implementation of HSE programs for Rincon Lithium Operations. It must provide support in the risk management of the site with mitigation and proactive controls, as well as ensure compliance with the Health and Safety regulatory framework in Argentina; in addition to providing technical supervision of Health and Safety activities for operations.
The position will also be required to drive Rio Tinto's standards, including the minimum HSE requirements of Rincon Lithium's operations for contractors.
Reporting to the HSE Manager and working in a collaborative environment, you should:
- Develop, support and guide a team that provides HSE support in the field at all levels of drilling and operations.
- Be in contact and communicate openly with the HSE Manager about the status, needs and compliance of operations.
- Communicate regularly with key stakeholders and operational employees, regarding HSE duties, plans and performance improvement at work.
- Participate (where necessary) in work plan reviews to help demonstrate HSE readiness for field execution.
- Provide HSE information to the Training Plan.
- Participate in incident investigation and cause analysis / 5 why, as an HSE subject matter expert.
- Participate/support audits, including Rio Tinto Safety Maturity Model (SMM) assessments, to ensure HSE requirements are met.
- Participate in key activities of Rio Tinto and contractors, e.g. equipment mobilization, reviews/inspections, JHA development, etc.
HSE Management:
- Support HSE programmes (plans, systems, procedures, standards) to control risks.
- Support and participate in the assurance of the 1st line according to Rio Tinto's standards.
- Work closely with operations and project teams to develop and implement specific plans to mitigate critical risks identified on-site.
- Support safety culture and continuous improvement by building relationships between teams.
- Provide technical guidance and support to all team members in relation to RT standards through training and mentoring.
