Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) Principal Advisor, Process Control Systems pour rejoindre notre équipe. Votre rôle consistera à diriger et soutenir le fonctionnement stable des actifs PCS. Ce rôle est conçu pour mettre en œuvre les processus de gestion des actifs, constituer une équipe et développer des outils de support pour l'instrumentation et le système de contrôle des processus.
Rattaché(e) au Manager Asset & Project, vos principales responsabilités consisteront à :
- Mettre en œuvre les processus de gestion des actifs et les outils de support à travers les différentes branches de la gestion des actifs PCS.
- Identifier les opportunités d'amélioration des systèmes et processus de gestion des actifs PCS en recueillant les retours des parties prenantes.
- Manager l'installation, la maintenance et le dépannage de tous les systèmes de contrôle des processus, y compris les DCS, PLC, SCADA et l'instrumentation.
- Développer et mettre en œuvre des programmes de maintenance préventive pour les équipements PCS.
- Assurer la conformité avec toutes les réglementations de sécurité et environnementales en vigueur.
- Gérer la documentation PCS, y compris les schémas, les spécifications et les procédures.
- Travailler en collaboration avec les Unités opérationnelles et les Sites pour assurer la pérennisation et l’intégration des systèmes et processus de gestion des actifs PCS.
- Diriger, coacher, encadrer et former afin de renforcer les compétences au sein des Sites et des Unités opérationnelles.
- Se tenir informé des évolutions technologiques et mettre en place des formations adaptées.
Votre contribution :
- Titulaire d'un diplôme d'ingénieur, de préférence en génie électrique, en ingénierie des systèmes de contrôle ou dans un domaine équivalent ;
- Au moins 8 ans d'expérience dans un environnement de contrôle de procédés, de préférence dans l'industrie minière ou de traitement des minéraux, avec au moins 4 ans d'expérience avérée dans la gestion et l'animation d'équipes techniques.
- Solide expérience en coaching et en gestion du changement ;
- Solide connaissance de la programmation d'automates programmables industriels (API) en langages CEI sur systèmes Rockwell et Allen Bradley, et bonne maîtrise de la conception et de la programmation SCADA ;
- Solide expertise en conception de systèmes de contrôle ;
- Connaissance approfondie des instruments de mesure et de contrôle de procédés, ainsi qu'une bonne maîtrise de la conception et de la mise en œuvre de systèmes de réseau ;
- Connaissance des normes internationales en matière de contrôle et d'automatisation ;
- Solides compétences en gestion de projet et en gestion des risques, avec une forte capacité à optimiser les ressources ;
- Bonne compréhension des principes budgétaires et financiers, et expérience en audit et en gouvernance ;
- Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais

We are looking for a Principal Advisor, Process Control Systems to join our team. Your role will be to lead and support the stable operation of PCS assets. This position is designed to implement asset management processes, build a team, and develop support tools for instrumentation and process control systems.
Reporting to the Manager Asset & Project, your main responsibilities will include:
- Implementing asset management processes and support tools across various PCS asset management streams.
- Identifying improvement opportunities within PCS asset management systems and processes by gathering stakeholder feedback.
- Managing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all process control systems, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation.
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs for PCS equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Managing PCS documentation, including schematics, specifications, and procedures.
- Collaborating with Business Units and Sites to sustain and integrate PCS asset management systems and processes.
- Leading, coaching, mentoring, and training teams to build capabilities within Sites and Business Units.
- Staying up to date with technological advancements and implementing relevant training programs.
What you’ll bring
- Holds an engineering degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or an equivalent field;
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a process control environment, preferably in the mining or mineral processing industry with at least 4 years of proven experience in managing and leading technical teams.
- Strong coaching and change management experience;
- Solid knowledge of PLC programming in IEC languages on Rockwell and Allen Bradley systems and Good command of SCADA design and programming;
- Solid expertise in control system design;
- In-depth knowledge of process measurement and control instruments as well as a good command of network system design and implementation;
- Knowledge of international standards in control and automation;
- Strong project management and risk management skills, with a strong ability to optimize resources;
- Good understanding of budgetary and financial principles and experience in auditing and governance;
- Fluent in both French and English
