Buscamos un/a Manager de Producción para liderar la ejecución segura, eficiente y sostenible de las operaciones en nuestra planta procesadora de litio en el proyecto Rincón. Esta posición reporta directamente al Gerente General y tendrá bajo su liderazgo a Superintendentes, Supervisores, Ingenieros y Técnicos, siendo responsable por el desempeño integral de las unidades asignadas.
Responsabilidades clave
- Liderar equipos técnicos y operativos, promoviendo una cultura de seguridad, excelencia y mejora continua.
- Asegurar el cumplimiento de los objetivos de producción, calidad, seguridad y medio ambiente.
- Gestionar el presupuesto operativo y de mantenimiento, así como los proyectos de capital asignados.
- Optimizar el uso de recursos humanos y materiales, fomentando la flexibilidad, el desarrollo de talento y la sucesión interna.
- Implementar sistemas de gestión Lean y prácticas de mejora continua.
- Supervisar la operación de la planta Rincon y la transición hacia la planta comercial.
- Impulsar iniciativas de eficiencia energética, reducción de costos y benchmarking.
- Asegurar el cumplimiento de normativas legales, certificaciones ambientales e higiene industrial.
- Colaborar en la planificación estratégica y toma de decisiones con impacto más allá del equipo propio.
Requisitos
- Título universitario en Ingeniería.
- +10 años de experiencia en industrias minera, de petróleo, gas o similares, con al menos 3 años liderando líderes.
- Conocimiento en HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, P&ID, PFD y equipos de tratamiento químico.
- Dominio de MS Office y SAP.
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, con dominio del español y el inglés.
- Habilidades de liderazgo, comunicación, planificación estratégica y gestión de equipos de alto desempeño.
- Capacidad para comunicar y presentar eficazmente (tanto oral como escrito) temas, estrategias y recomendaciones.

About the Role

We are seeking an Production Manager to lead the safe, efficient, and sustainable execution of operations at our future lithium processing plant in the Rincón project. This role reports directly to the General Manager and will oversee Superintendents, Supervisors, Engineers, and Technicians, being accountable for the overall performance of assigned units.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical and operational teams, fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with production, quality, safety, and environmental targets.
- Manage operational and maintenance budgets, as well as assigned capital projects.
- Optimize human and material resources, promoting flexibility, talent development, and succession planning.
- Implement Lean management systems and continuous improvement practices.
- Oversee pilot plant operations and transition to commercial plant.
- Drive initiatives for energy efficiency, cost reduction, and benchmarking.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations, environmental certifications, and industrial hygiene standards.
- Collaborate in strategic planning and decision-making with impact beyond own team.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in mining, oil & gas, or related industries, with at least 3 years leading other leaders.
- Knowledge of HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, P&ID, PFD, and chemical treatment equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Strong leadership, communication, strategic planning, and high-performance team management skills.
- Skilled in effectively communicating and presenting (both orally and in writing) issues, strategies, and recommendations.
