About the Role
Join Rio Tinto’s Fixed Plant Electrical team as a Refrigeration Maintainer, responsible for maintaining HVAC-R systems across our Tom Price operations. This role ensures the safety, comfort, and reliability of critical infrastructure supporting our workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair refrigeration, chillers and air-conditioning systems across site.

Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on critical assets.

Operate mobile and lifting equipment safely.

Use SAP and work management systems for task tracking.
-
Promote and uphold Rio Tinto’s safety culture.

Support continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration.
What You'll Bring
-
Certificate III in Mechanical Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
-
Full Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Licence
-
(Optional) Restricted Electrical Licence
-
WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence (Manual); HR Licence preferred
-
High-Risk Work Licences (Forklift LF, EWP) desirable
-
Experience in mine site HVAC-R systems maintenance
-
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
-
Leadership and mentoring capabilities
-
Proficiency in SAP and building management systems

Commitment to safety and compliance

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
