About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Remuneration Strategy & Solutions to lead the global remuneration function across our mining operations. This role is responsible for setting the strategic direction, governance, and operational delivery of remuneration programs that support our business objectives and reflect market realities. Reporting to General Manager Executive & Employee Remuneration and Share Plans you will oversee a team of direct reports and indirect reports across four integrated areas:

Some of your accountabilities will include.

Shape how remuneration strategy is embedded across the organisation, ensuring it remains agile, relevant, and aligned with our evolving business landscape.

Provide thought leadership to define and evolve the global remuneration strategy in line with market trends and business priorities.

Own and maintain group-wide remuneration standards, frameworks, and governance models.
Specialist Delivery Line

Shape and enhance how remuneration services are delivered globally, aligning with broader operating model ambitions to simplify processes, improve consistency, and elevate the employee and stakeholder experience.

Drive continuous improvement, embed global standards, and foster cross-regional collaboration.

Set and manage country-level salary structures and annual salary review investments.
Business Consulting via Service Delivery Line

Enable business ambitions and priorities through strategic consulting and partnership ensuring solutions are responsive, data-driven, and aligned with operational realities.

Interface with broader people function senior managers for integrated planning and delivery.

Support policy operationalisation and governance within businesses.
Technology & Tools Enablement

Partner with HR Technology teams to ensure tools are scalable, integrated, and aligned with global processes.

Provide subject matter expertise in the design and implementation of digital solutions supporting remuneration operations.

Champion continuous improvement and innovation in remuneration systems and data capabilities.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have

Extensive experience in global remuneration strategy, governance, and operations.

Proven leadership in managing geographically dispersed teams and complex program portfolios.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Deep expertise in remuneration principles, market practices, and regulatory frameworks.
-
Experience in managing annual cycles, benchmarking, and program rollouts at scale.

Familiarity with HRIS platforms and performance management systems.
-
A collaborative mindset and ability to balance global consistency with local relevance.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
