About the role

We’re looking to strengthen our Rail Maintenance Integration Scheduling team with motivated schedulers who want to sit at the centre of how rail maintenance is safely planned, integrated, and executed across the Pilbara.

This role plays a critical part in turning maintenance strategy into executable work — balancing safety, asset integrity and production outcomes in a complex operational environment. As a Scheduler – Rail Maintenance Integration, you will be embedded within a high-performing team responsible for short-term planning, work readiness, and deviation management across the rail network.

You’ll work closely with planning, execution, engineering, and operational stakeholders to develop schedules that are not only compliant, but executable — ensuring maintenance work is delivered safely, efficiently, and at the right time.

Your work will directly support asset health, improve schedule reliability, and enable better decision-making across the business.

Reporting to the Superintendent Scheduling, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Shape and coordinate maintenance schedules from quarterly forecasts and Maintenance tactics through to short-term execution

• Develop and manage quality obstructions that enable safe maintenance while minimising production impacts

• Lead and contribute to key stakeholder forums, ensuring clear communication and alignment

• Actively manage deviations to schedules and system changes, supporting continuity of work when conditions change

• Contribute to continuous improvement in scheduling, integration, and work management practices

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• A strong safety-first mindset and accountability for outcomes ·

• Experience or working knowledge of rail operations or maintenance environments ·

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel; Project desirable) ·

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities ·

• Confidence working autonomously while meeting process and delivery timelines ·

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence across functions ·

• A collaborative mindset and willingness to challenge, improve, and learn
