About the role
The implementation of Modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a critical step in Rio Tinto’s transformation journey, moving from outdated technology (SAP ECC6) to a new, digitally enabled lean core platform (SAP S/4HANA) and application ecosystem. As this is a business led, Group-wide transformation effort, it requires a strong team to bridge the business and technology landscapes. From contract through to cash, every aspect of our operations will benefit from this modernization that offers an exciting opportunity to deliver a digital foundation that will enable Rio Tinto’s ongoing digital transformation opportunities.
We are looking for a Senior Advisor – Change Management to support the Move & Sell GPO with change management across the Realise & Deploy phase and hyper care.
Reporting to the M&S GPO/Regional Change Lead, you will:

Turn change strategy into practical delivery: Support the Move & Sell and Regional Change Lead with translating the change approach into clear, high quality change artefacts (e.g. impact assessments, readiness insights, business engagement and user training inputs) that are easy for the business to understand and act on.

Analyze and articulate business impacts: Work with program teams and business stakeholders to identify business, process, technology, data and role impacts across various processes, capabilities and other relevant initiatives. Surface risks, dependencies and change implications across impacted teams.

Coordinate change activities: Support the coordination of change activities, helping with sequencing, tracking, alignment and follow-through as the program evolves.

Sense and surface emerging change risks: Support the Move & Sell and Regional Change Lead as a proactive ‘radar’ across the business by continuously sensing for engagement gaps, adoption risks and early signs of resistance.

Enable governance, reporting and continuous improvement: Support changing governance by preparing materials, synthesizing inputs, tracking actions and maintaining change documentation so it remains accurate and decisions ready.

Support effective engagement and communication: Support the planning and delivery of stakeholder and leadership engagements, demonstrations and showcases by preparing briefing material, talking points, presentation content and session designs.

Track program and stakeholder feedback and sentiment: Gathering feedback through effective means, tracking sentiment and responses from the business, and closing feedback loops.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
-
Degree in relevant discipline.
-
Practical experience supporting change initiatives in complex, global, enterprise environments (ERP, digital or operating model change).

Exposure to analysing business and process impacts and translating change strategy into clear, usable outputs.
-
Deep understanding and proven experience of applying change management, organisational and change leadership psychology principles, frameworks and leading practice within relevant fields.

Strong written and verbal communication and people interaction skills, with the ability to work confidently with stakeholders at multiple levels.

Experience supporting stakeholder engagement, training or readiness activities.
-
Ability to critically evaluate prior to execution, problem solve across various situations and take proactive initiative.
