About the role
We are looking for a Principal Adviser to support the delivery of performance reporting and analytics solutions within our Finance Domain – Business Performance Management (BPM) stream, helping the business make better, faster decisions through trusted insights.
This is a great opportunity for a collaborative, adaptable finance professional who enjoys working across stakeholders and technology-enabled solutions to improve business performance outcomes.
Reporting to the hiring leader and working in a collaborative, agile environment within the Finance Domain – BPM team, you will be:

Partnering with stakeholders to understand performance reporting and analytics requirements

Translating business needs into scalable reporting, analytics and performance management solutions

Supporting the transition to evolving finance and planning platforms and ensuring solutions are embedded

Providing analysis and insight that improves decision-making and performance outcomes

Contributing to governance, data integrity and disciplined reporting practices

Driving continuous improvement, standardisation and scalability of reporting processes and outputs

Collaborating effectively across a globally distributed team and agile ways of working

Working with internal and external partners to support delivery and adoption
About you

A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

Experience in management accounting / finance with strong capability in performance reporting and analytics

Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualisation/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI or similar)

Experience working with ERP / finance platforms (SAP experience is highly regarded) and strong data fluency
-
Strong business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
-
A collaborative, agile mindset with sound judgement handling sensitive data and a focus on customer value

Where you’ll be working
You will be part of the Finance Domain – BPM stream, focused on delivering performance management solutions that enable insight-driven decision-making. You’ll work closely with a globally distributed team and a broad stakeholder network to embed value from reporting and analytics outcomes. This role can be based in Brisbane or Perth, Australia.
