Reporting to the Manager – Improvement, you will:

- Analyse asset health, condition monitoring and operational data to generate clear, actionable insights
- Lead improvement of alert quality, thresholds and system effectiveness to improve decision-making
- Develop and standardise dashboards and visualisation tools (e.g. Grafana) to support operational teams
- Identify and deliver asset health improvement initiatives that reduce downtime and improve equipment performance
- Design and implement training materials, competency frameworks and sign-off processes to uplift OC capability
- Support investigation of significant failures and recurring issues, contributing to root cause analysis and prevention strategies
- Improve integration of asset health insights into operational and maintenance planning processes
- Act as an asset health subject matter expert within digital and improvement projects related to mining operations
What you will bring
- Experience in asset health, reliability, condition monitoring or maintenance in mining operations
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and translate insights into practical actions
- Experience working with asset health or fleet management systems (e.g. Wenco Mine , SAP, Readyline, Tyre Sense, CAT systems or condition monitoring tools)
- Strong problem-solving capability with experience in failure analysis and continuous improvement
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with operations and maintenance teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information
- Self-driven, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Proficiency in Excel, including complex data analysis and use of PivotTables
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Knowledge of mobile mining equipment or equivalent experience, in particular Caterpillar mobile equipment
- Mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering degree or post trade experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP, including searching the IH01 equipment register and raising notifications
- Experience developing or delivering training and capability uplift initiatives
- Understanding of root cause RCA and failure analysis principles
- Experience developing or working with dashboards and data visualisation tools (e.g. Grafana, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability in continuous improvement methodologies
