Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Superviseur(e) entretien au Garage – Chemin de fer QNS&L. Le ou la titulaire de ce poste sera responsable de la supervision des activités hebdomadaires et des employés en vue d’atteindre les objectifs.
Ce poste constitue une excellente occasion de mettre à profit votre expertise en gestion et votre leadership. La gestion en première ligne constitue une des tâches les plus importantes dans l’entreprise et s’accompagne d’énormes responsabilités : motiver les employés, leur offrir une source d’inspiration et assurer leur sécurité et leur bien-être.
Dans le cadre de nos programmes de formation en leadership phares, la croissance et le développement sont bien plus que des « occasions » – ce sont des initiatives planifiées activement et mises en œuvre concrètement. Chaque jour, nos gestionnaires poursuivent leur croissance, selon des horaires adaptés pour les aider à mener le style de vie qui leur convient, à eux ainsi qu’à leur famille.
Vous travaillerez selon un horaire de jour de 7 jours de travail, 7 jours de congé. Relevant du Superviseur Senior à l’entretien du chemin de fer, le titulaire devra s’acquitter des fonctions suivantes :
- Organiser, coordonner et superviser l’ensemble des activités dans votre secteur. Maintenir la qualité des activités tout en s’assurant qu’elles se déroulent de manière efficace, en temps voulu et au meilleur coût possible.
- Assurer l’exécution des travaux planifiés, la planification et la disponibilité de la main d’œuvre, de l’équipement et du matériel nécessaire pour l’exécution des activités.
- Participer à la préparation des budgets et collaborer au suivi des coûts.
- Assurer également la conformité aux différentes réglementations gouvernementales et veiller au respect des normes d’entretien en vigueur dans l’entreprise.
- Établir les objectifs d’entretien, déterminer le travail nécessaire et établir l’ordre de priorité aux fins de l’établissement de calendriers de travail journaliers.
- S’assurer de la disponibilité de la main-d’œuvre pour la réalisation des activités tout en respectant les politiques et procédures de l’entreprise et en vigueur. Encadrer les membres de votre équipe, en leur fournissant du soutien et des conseils.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le planificateur du secteur afin d’assurer l’approvisionnement du matériel et des fournitures nécessaires pour la réalisation des travaux.
- Gérer ou participer à l’élaboration et à la gestion des projets d’entretien et/ou gérer certains contrats d’entretien ou de services selon le besoin.
À propos de vous
Pour que votre candidature soit considérée à ce poste, le titulaire devra remplir les exigences suivantes :
- Engagement envers votre sécurité et celle de votre équipe
- DES ou équivalence TENS
- DEP ou DEC en mécanique ou une combinaison d’expériences pertinentes en mécanique lourde
- Maitriser le français à l’oral et à l’écrit et connaissance de base de l’anglais. Rio Tinto est une entreprise mondiale et les fonctions de ce poste pourraient exigés une collaboration avec des collègues, des équipes ou des partenaires basés à l’extérieur du Québec.
- Minimum de 5 années d’expérience pertinente en industrie.
- Expérience en gestion du personnel dans un milieu syndiqué en plus de posséder un bon leadership, d’excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles, en communication, en négociation et en résolution de conflit.
- Maîtrise l’utilisation du logiciel SAP et connaitre les logiciels de la suite Microsoft.

IOC est un important producteur et exportateur nord-américain de boulettes de minerai de fer de qualité supérieure et de concentré à haute teneur (plus de 66 % de fer, en moyenne). Nous exploitons également, en propriété exclusive, un chemin de fer de 418 km – le Chemin de fer QNS&L (Quebec North Shore and Labrador) – qui relie nos activités du Labrador à notre terminal portuaire à Sept-Îles.
