Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Directeur/Directrice – Excellence Opérationnelle, afin de gérer une équipe de professionnelle afin d’assurer l’excellence opérationnelle et l’esprit lean dans l’organisation. Votre rôle consistera à mettre en œuvre les meilleures pratiques opérationnelles et de gestion pour orienter l’organisation vers la performance. Le titulaire du poste devra également démonter des aptitudes à collaborer et influencer à différents niveaux pour plusieurs unités d’affaires dans une région.
Sous l’autorité du Directeur général en amélioration de la performance, Opérations Atlantiques, vous aurez les responsabilités suivantes :
- Mène une équipe et agit à titre de partenaire stratégique en support aux directions des sites dans le déploiement du système de production sécuritaire de Rio Tinto (RTSPS)
- Identifie, met en œuvre, gère et surveille les projets d’amélioration des affaires pour la région dont il est responsable
- Applique la gouvernance de la discipline et l’assurance de la qualité à tous les projets d’amélioration des affaires et au programme SPS
- Met en œuvre des mesures visant à évaluer la durabilité des avantages de l’amélioration
- Établit et entretient des relations efficaces avec les parties prenantes des opérations, des projets et des fonctions
- Donne de l’assistance et de l’orientation techniques de niveau expert aux équipes d’amélioration des affaires
- Donne du coaching aux leaders pour qu’ils continuent de mettre en œuvre les méthodologies d’amélioration des affaires
- Gère l’équipe et assure le développement de sa performance, conformément aux valeurs d’entreprise de Rio Tinto, afin d’atteindre les objectifs
- Conduit la transformation culturelle, des mentalités et des comportements pour libérer tout le potentiel de notre chaîne de valeur avec tous nos employés.
À propos de vous
Pour que votre candidature soit prise en considération, les exigences sont les suivantes :
- Baccalauréat en science, en ingénierie ou tout autre domaine pertinent
- Minimum 15 ans d’expérience sont 3 à 5 ans dans un poste similaire
- Certification ceinture noire
- Maitriser le français et l’anglais à l’oral et à l’écrit. Rio Tinto est une entreprise mondiale et les fonctions de ce poste exigent une collaboration quotidiennement avec des collègues, des équipes ou des partenaires basés à l’extérieur du Québec.
- Connaissance d’un environnement Lean, Six Sigma
- Orientation résultat, capacité d’analyse et esprit d’équipe

- Capacité à traiter avec divers enjeux

Emplacement du poste
Rio Tinto Aluminium est présent au Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean depuis plus de 100 ans. Dans la région, nos installations comprennent une raffinerie d’alumine, quatre usines d’électrolyse, six centrales hydroélectriques, notre Centre de recherche et de développement Arvida, le Centre opérationnel aluminium, un chemin de fer et un port. Nos usines d’électrolyse à la fine pointe de la technologie produisent de l’aluminium certifié « responsable ».
