About the role
Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs.
We are looking for Geo Technicians to manage and support the proposed field operations, including core handling, sampling, and geotechnical investigations when the project reaches this stage
This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented and proactive individuals to gain experience in technical fieldwork and contribute to environmental sustainability efforts.
Reporting to the Geotechnical Supervisor and working in a collaborative environment within the Operations team, they will be:
- Handling core materials at drilling sites and in storage, ensuring careful manipulation and accurate documentation and measuring and marking drilled core lengths and taking core photographs.
- Conducting core cutting, sampling, and delivering samples to laboratories for analysis.
- Supporting geologists with borehole logging and supervising contractors during investigation operations.
- Monitoring the sampling process at drilling sites and overseeing earthworks to minimize environmental impact.
- Managing land reclamation and ensuing ongoing environmental monitoring complies with legal and company standards.
- Implementing Rio Tinto safety, environmental, and community relations policies with contractor field staff.
- Coordinating with occupational health and safety personnel, geologists, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Continuously improving field operations, data accuracy, and reporting processes.
- Representing the company in dealings with landowners and collaborating with the Jadar team to achieve business objectives.

Zapošljavamo geološke tehničare koji će upravljati i pružati podršku planiranim aktivnostima na terenu, uključujući manipulaciju jezgrom, uzorkovanje i geotehnička istraživanja u odgovarajućoj fazi projekta.

Vaš nadređeni će biti geotehničar nadzornik, a vaša zaduženja u radnom okruženju koje podstiče timski duh u okviru Tima za operacije podrazumevaju sledeće:
- Manipulaciju jezgrom na lokacijama bušotina i prilikom skladištenja, obezbeđujući pravilno rukovanje i vođenje evidencije o jezgru, kao i merenje i obeležavanje dužine i fotografisanje nabušenog jezgra.
- Vođenje aktivnosti na sečenju jezgra, uzorkovanju i dostavljanju uzoraka laboratorijama.
- Podrška geolozima tokom karotaža bušotina, kao i nadzor aktivnosti izvođača radova za vreme istraživanja.
- Upravljanje procesima uzorkovanja na lokacijama bušotina i nadziranje zemljanih radova s ciljem svođenja uticaja na životnu sredinu na minimum.
- Upravljanje aktivnostima na rekultivaciji zemljišta, kako bismo osigurali da su stalne aktivnosti u domenu zaštite životne sredine u skladu sa zakonodavstvom Republike Srbije i standardima kompanije.
- Primena politika kompanije Rio Tinto u oblasti bezbednosti, zaštiti životne sredine i odnosa sa lokalnom zajednicom u saradnji sa osobljem na terenu izvođača radova.
- Saradnja sa zaposlenima zaduženim za zdravlje i zaštitu na radu, geolozima i eksternim zainteresovanim stranama u primeni bezbednosnih procedura.
- Stalna unapređenja terenskih aktivnosti, tačnosti podataka i izveštavanja.
- Zastupanje kompanije u kontaktu sa vlasnicima zemljišta i saradnja sa članovima tima na Projektu „Jadar“ u postizanju poslovnih ciljeva.
