Acerca del cargo
Buscamos un Superintendente de Seguridad, Salud en el Trabajo y Medio Ambiente (HSE) quien será responsable de diseñar, desarrollar e implementar los programas de Seguridad, Salud en el Trabajo y Medio Ambiente en apoyo del proyecto Comitá. Reportando al Gerente General, Usted estará a cargo de lo siguiente:

Lidera y asesora la gestión HSE del proyecto Comitá

Lidera un equipo de profesionales de HSE en proyecto.

Apoya al Gerente General para diseñar y gestionar los aspectos de HSE, alineados con los estándares de la empresa y requisitos legales.

Trabaja en estrecha colaboración con los equipos de Operaciones para desarrollar planes específicos para mitigar riesgos críticos en el sitio.

Elabora planes de gestión HSE para Comitá.
-
Representa a la empresa ante organismos públicos con competencia en Seguridad minera.
-
Promueve las mejores prácticas de gestión, una cultura de Seguridad y de mejora continua inspirando, motivando e influyendo sobre empleados y Contratistas.

Guía y apoya a empresas Contratistas para que den cumplimiento a la normativa de Seguridad y Estándares HSE de la empresa.

Se mantiene actualizado sobre los cambios e innovaciones en materia de normativa de Seguridad, Salud en el Trabajo y Medio Ambiente, y se anticipa a potenciales dificultades.

Participa en las investigaciones de incidentes laborales en calidad de experto.

Participa en las auditorías de la empresa, incluyendo las evaluaciones del Modelo de Madurez de Seguridad (SMM, por sus siglas en inglés).

Mantiene, evalúa y analiza estadísticas sobre desempeño HSE.
Lo que aportará y requerirá para ser considerado en este rol
Para tener éxito en este puesto, deberá contar con:

Compromiso con su Seguridad y la del equipo.
-
Profesional de Ingeniería en Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, o carreras afines
-
Licencia de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (SST)
-
Al menos diez (10) años de experiencia en operaciones mineras y/o exploración.
-
Sólido conocimiento de legislación de Seguridad y sectorial en minería.
-
Excelente habilidades de comunicación y redacción con partes interesadas.
-
Licencia de conducir.
-
Manejo del idioma inglés será una ventaja.

Role based in our Medellín offices, with periodic travel to our Comitá project, located in Quibdó, Department of Chocó.
About the role
We are looking for a Superintendent of Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment (HSE) who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing HSE programs in support of the Comita project. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Leading and advising the HSE management of the Comita site.

Leading a team of HSE professionals on-site.
-
Supporting the Project Manager in designing and managing HSE aspects, aligned with company standards and legal requirements.

Working closely with Operations teams to develop specific plans to mitigate critical risks on-site.
-
Developing HSE management plans for Comita.
-
Representing the company before public agencies with competence in mining safety.
-
Promoting best management practices, a culture of Safety, and continuous improvement by inspiring, motivating, and influencing employees and Contractors.
-
Guiding and supporting Contractor companies to comply with the company's Safety regulations and HSE Standards.
-
Analyzing and evaluating HSE performance statistics.
-
Staying updated on changes and innovations in Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental regulations, and anticipating potential difficulties.

Participating in workplace incident investigations as an expert.
-
Participating in company audits, including evaluations of the Safety Maturity Model (SMM).
-
Maintaining updated statistics on the project's HSE performance.
What You Will Bring
To be successful in this position, you must have:
-
A commitment to your safety and that of the team.
-
A degree in Risk Prevention Engineering or related fields.
-
Licensed to work as an Occupational Health and Safety professional (SST).
-
At least ten (10) years of experience in mining operations and/or exploration.
-
Solid knowledge of Safety and sector-specific legislation in mining.
-
Excellent communication and writing skills with stakeholders.
-
Driver's license.
-
Proficiency in English will be an advantage.
