About the role
We are looking for a Manager Network Platforms Operations who can provide operational leadership across Rio Tinto’s Enterprise and Operational Technology (OT) network throughout the Asia Pacific region. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and collaborative network operations and people leader to influence the performance, reliability and security of critical infrastructure services across our global organisation.
Based in Perth, you will lead a highly capable team and partner network, while driving operational excellence, service performance and continuous improvement across our complex technology landscape.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Network Platforms and working within the global Infrastructure and Operations team, you will:

Lead the operational delivery of Enterprise and OT network services across the APAC region, ensuring safe, secure and reliable performance

Manage strategic delivery partners and vendors, including ensuring performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs and contractual obligations

Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across operations, technology teams, business leaders and external service providers

Drive operational excellence through standardisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring network services meet security, compliance and governance requirements while supporting broader IS&T objectives

Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team capable of effectively managing complex network environments and partner relationships

Collaborate with and support global and regional Network Platform teams to deliver consistent positive outcomes and customer experiences
About you
To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

Extensive experience leading large-scale Enterprise and/or Operational Technology network operations within complex, multinational or global organisations

Proven experience managing critical 24/7 operational services and driving service performance against SLAs and KPIs

Strong vendor and partner management experience, with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups
-
Technical expertise across enterprise networking, data centre environments, LTE/5G technologies and modern network operations practices
-
Leadership experience including developing high-performing teams, coupled with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
