Make a direct impact on employee experience by delivering accurate, compliant and responsive HR support across our UK business.
Apply your UK HR experience across employee lifecycle administration, Right to Work compliance, Workday, employee data and the effective triage of employee and manager enquiries.
Join a collaborative Global Services team where accuracy, data integrity, proactive service delivery and continuous improvement are central to how we work.
We’re Finding Better Ways™ to provide materials the world needs, now and in the future. Our values, care, courage and curiosity, guide how we work and how we treat each other.
About the role
We are looking for a People Analyst with practical UK HR experience to support the delivery of HR Operations Services within Global Services. In this role, you will contribute to employee lifecycle administration, workforce transactions, UK Right to Work processes and HR compliance, while helping to deliver a positive employee experience.
As an entry point to HR for employees and managers, you will provide a responsive and customer-focused service, listening carefully, identifying the nature and priority of each enquiry, and ensuring it is resolved or directed to the appropriate team. You will need to triage and influence with care, confidence and sound judgement, while creating a positive employee experience.
Reporting to the Superintendent People, you will work with employees, managers, payroll teams and other internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant and customer-focused services.
You will need to bring a good understanding of UK HR practices and relevant employment legislation, combined with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of employee data. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, proactively identifies what needs to be done and follows activities through to completion. This is an opportunity to build further capability across HR operations, employee data, service delivery and continuous improvement while contributing to process standardisation and automation.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, job changes and workforce transactions.
- Support UK Right to Work processes and checks, ensuring appropriate records are accurately maintained and requirements are followed.
- Process HR transactions accurately in line with service-level agreements, operational procedures, controls and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records, documentation and data in Workday and other HR service platforms, with a strong focus on data quality, integrity and confidentiality.
- Act as an entry point to HR for employees and managers, providing a professional, responsive and customer-focused service through HR service platforms and operational support channels.
- Triage employee and manager enquiries with care, confidence and sound judgement, resolving appropriate operational queries and directing or escalating more complex, sensitive or policy-based matters to the Senior HRA or relevant specialist team.
- Use data and analytical skills to identify trends, recurring issues, workflow inefficiencies and opportunities to improve service delivery, processes and the employee experience.
- Take proactive ownership of enquiries and operational activities, identifying priorities and following work through to completion rather than relying solely on task allocation.
- Resolve or escalate operational issues, system errors, risks and service delivery concerns in line with governance processes.
- Support reporting, enquiry tracking and service delivery visibility through accurate data entry and record management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, standardisation and automation initiatives that strengthen service efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with payroll teams and internal stakeholders to support integrated service delivery.
About you
We’re looking for someone whose experience aligns with the key requirements below. You do not need to meet every “Helpful for Success” item to apply. If you bring relevant experience and are excited by the opportunity, we encourage you to submit an application.

- Practical HR experience within a UK environment, with a good understanding of UK HR practices and relevant employment legislation.
- Experience supporting UK Right to Work checks and associated compliance requirements.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and compliance, with a strong commitment to data integrity and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to take ownership, use initiative, identify what needs to be done and follow activities through to completion.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to listen, build trust, influence appropriately and support employees and managers with care and confidence.
- Strong judgement and triage capability, with the ability to assess enquiries, establish priorities and recognise when matters should be resolved, redirected or escalated.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to interpret information and data, identify trends and contribute to service and process improvements.

Where you’ll be working
Our global headquarters is situated in St. James’s Square, in the City of Westminster, London, on the edge of the West End, and is the site of the group’s original head office. Located over several floors, the office is truly a global hub for the business and is the base for many members of the Executive Committee. As such, the grade II listed office reflects the vibrancy of the location, although it also overlooks the tranquility of the only garden square in the district and is a short walk from Green Park and Piccadilly underground stations.
