About the role

The People Analytics Advisor is responsible for maintenance and sustainability of People data and Insights products that enable the People Function to make well-informed, evidence-based decisions.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join a diverse team of People data professionals. The ideal candidate will be providing Levels 2 and 3 support, ensuring that end-users benefit from both high availability and high performance.

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to support the group’s focus on delivering data & analysis to drive decision making, help foster stronger partnerships with internal customers, and achieve business excellence. We are looking for an enterprising person with the ability to derive actionable insights from multiple data sources, love for data and statistics, and a willingness to learn and grow. Reporting to the People Data Solutions Manager, the key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

• Support the maintenance and sustainability of the People data & Insights products across People insights, Data management, Data science and Surveys and Research teams

• Deliver high application uptimes and performance for custom-built internal products

• Manage and prioritize support requests, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests

• Act as a primary point of contact for end-users and stakeholders to provide guidance, advice, and support on People data & Insights products in production

• Identify and implement improvements to support processes and tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the People data Solutions team

• Ensure all support processes and procedures are in place and followed to ensure consistent and efficient support

• Continuously monitor the performance and availability of analytics products, taking proactive steps to prevent incidents and resolve issues

• Get involved in usage of the HR Lakehouse (Databricks) and data solutions built within it

• Develop processes for the adoption of new applications to support, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption for end-users

• Collaborate with the development teams to find solutions to difficult problems and offer input on the design and development of new products

• Identify data quality and integrity issues to discover fit for purpose data sets. Ensure compliance with human resource reporting quality standards

• Continuously learn and get involved in development of data solutions of the People Data and Insights team whenever needed and possible

• Collaborate with internal IS&T teams to ensure timely and effective communication of outages and high-severity events

• Transition existing tools (e.g. SQL, Excel VBA, etc.) to best practices tools (e.g. Databricks, Python, PowerApps)

What you will bring

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analysis, or a related discipline

• 3–6 years’ experience and knowledge in data analytics or application/data solution support

• Experience with data platforms and tools such as Workday, SAP BW, Databricks, SQL databases, GitHub, AWS, and cloud services

• Experience with Power BI, Excel, and Tableau for data visualization and reporting

• Working knowledge of Python, R, or SQL

• A collaborative approach and experience working across diverse, multi-disciplinary teams

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders

• Customer-focused, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning

• A strong interest in turning data into actionable insights that create business value
