About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead significant innovation as we deliver digital transformation across the Asset Management landscape.

As Principal, IoT Platform, you will lead a team of technical SME’s and consultants to select, develop and deliver our IoT platform from sensor, data acquisition, pre-processing and integration into corporate networks and data lakes. You will then work closely with our Asset Health Eco-system team and our data scientists to deploy predictive and prescriptive maintenance solutions for our mobile and fixed assets.

Reporting to the Manager Asset Digital and working in a challenging environment within our newly formed Digital division, you will need to be able to embrace diversity, seek perspectives counter to those you prefer, trust your team, and create highly inclusive routines for them and your partners while delivering on the below:

• Development and deployment of our HME & FXP IoT platform across all sites.

• Lead the complex deployment of hardware across 17 mine sites.

• Lead the product development cycle, taking the platform from PoC to supported product.

• Work with site stakeholders, business analysts and technical SME’s to manage operational and capital funded projects.

• Lead an incredible team of technical experts.

What you’ll bring

• A passion for innovation and experimentation

• Experience in IoT, Linux, MQTT and other technical skills is highly desirable.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

• Ability to lead a technical team

• Experience in delivering similar programs

• Experience in product management

• Experience in project management

• Experience in managing capital programs.

• A solid understanding and experience with working with IS&T, Architecture, Data Engineering to deliver scalable & sustainable solutions

Where you'll be working

This role is based in Perth, at our head office in Central Park, and working Monday to Friday.
