We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Coordinators – Mobile Equipment Maintenance join our MEM Mobile Equipment Maintenance Teams at West Angelas. These roles present a fantastic opportunity for experienced personnel looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll be part of a friendly team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team.

Reporting to the Supervisor Mobile Equipment Maintenance, the role will require you to:

•    Adhere to all Rio Tinto standards, policies and procedures
•    Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations
•    Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practices
•    Collaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties
•    Provide appropriate coaching, mentoring and technical support to Mobile Equipment Maintenance
•    Support Supervisors and Superintendent to deliver reliable mining fleet in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner, including monitoring schedule compliance and outstanding notifications, and resourcing administration
•    Provide coverage for the Supervisor when on leave/absent
•    Assist with execution of planned and breakdown work and prioritise emerging work based on business needs
•    Champion of parts processes, including urgent parts process, critical parts upgrades, ensuring parts availability and parts bookings for breakdowns
•    Responsible for recording, including ensuring comments are entered into SAP for any rescheduled work and breakdown events are recorded in the supervisor handover tool
•    Prep for and facilitate the daily reconciliation meeting
•    Assist with CMS when required
•    Manage the down board to ensure correct codes are being used and comments are up to date
•    Conduct spot audits on completed paperwork to ensure it is completed correctly
 

What you’ll bring    

•    A current "C Class" WA Manual Driver’s License
•    Appointment as Statutory Supervisor under WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022 with the functions as per Schedule 26

Located 110km west of Newman, West Angelas operates on a fly in fly out roster from Perth, Busselton or Broome depending on role requirements. Operational since 2002, it was the first site to be incorporated into our Mine of the Future™ programme, trialing autonomous trucks and drills that are now fully embedded into the operations. An expansion to the accommodation village, gym and recreational facilities on site offer exceptional living.
