We are looking for an Officer Maintenance Support to support the technical, compliance and process coordinating activities of the Supervisor and/or Superintendent in Fixed Plant.

Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance working within the maintenance team you will:

• Participate in planning and scheduling meetings

• Assist maintenance team in general application of efficient maintenance planning methodologies

• Analyse parts requirements for planned work

• Provide timely notification to maintenance Planners and Schedulers of any parts supply issues which may impact planned or scheduled work

• Ensure timely consolidation of parts and materials through the coordination with Planners, Schedulers, Warehouse Officers, freight providers and other external vendors

• Coordinate the return of stock to the warehouse in accordance with the RTIV process for the credit, vendor credit or disposal

• Provide front-line procurement and logistics support to the maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination functions with excellent and proactive customer service

• Ensure all audit requirements are met and are in line with company policy and procedure requirement

What you’ll bring

• A working knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems such as SAP

• Warehousing experience is beneficial
