About the role
Join our Integrated Operations team as an Evaluator Asset Health and help drive reliability across our Heavy Mobile Equipment fleet.
We’re seeking a highly analytical and motivated individual to support our sites through remote monitoring and fault diagnosis, contributing to improved equipment performance and reliability.

Reporting to the Asset Health Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

Monitoring the health of mining equipment remotely using real-time data from our Pilbara operations

Analysing HME data to identify and prioritise safety-critical events and optimise production opportunities
-
Providing expert advice based on your HME experience or using electronic manuals to improve machine availability and performance

Identifying predictive maintenance activities and generating notifications
-
Reviewing mobile equipment oil sample analysis and issuing recommendations to site teams
-
Responding to real-time requests from the Operations Centre to troubleshoot and fault-find equipment issues
-
Tracking equipment failure modes over time and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

What you’ll bring

A strong commitment to safety—for yourself and your team

A trade-qualified background in Heavy Mobile Equipment, with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, or Asset Management disciplines
-
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by effective communication and solid computer literacy
-
Extensive experience in mining maintenance, gained either through OEM or site-based roles
-
A safety-first mindset with a proactive approach to risk management
-
Working knowledge of SAP and intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
-
Hands-on experience with maintenance activities across a range of HME, including:

Komatsu: 730E, 830, 930, WA1200, L1350/1850/2350

Caterpillar: 785, 789, 793, 992, 994

Hitachi: EX3600, 5600, 8000

Highly Regarded Skills

Experience in oil analysis and interpretation

Where you’ll be working
This role is being offered on a shift roster of 3 days on, 3 nights on, 6 days off at our world class Perth Operations Centre.
Our integrated iron ore network is supported by our Operations Centre (OC) in Perth, a state-of-the-art facility that enables all the autonomous trucks, trains and drills at our mines, ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location.
The OC incorporates visualisation and collaboration tools to provide real-time information across our demand chain and allows us to optimise our mining, maintenance and logistic activities across the Pilbara in a way never before possible. Located near the Perth domestic airport, the OC operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines, rail and ports from 1,500km away.
